Ok this may not be amazing but I'm going to try to make Goutetsu sprites (help would be amazing to anyspriter better than me or anyone who just wants to help) I cannot code so I am only doing the sprites.

his face is still too much like Gen. notice how Goutetsu has only a small goatee intead of a full beard.

Thanks guys i know it's not perfect but whose first try is I'm pretty please but i know the goatee is off, i tried to make him look skinny frail, but strong at the same time, I'm going to make his skin darker and his dobok bottoms more "Gouki" like and then give him a rope instead of a belt also like Akuma. Thx again guys.

Iv'e run into a problem though, the belt is impossible, can anyone make him a rope belt just like Akumas? please

no, Dobok is a Tae Kwon Do outfit. That is a GI, or Kimono.

mutha fu...... Took my idea and made it better, thats sick and all but his stance is so over used i mean his foot stance and you gave him a knife hand, yours is visually better but i dont think its true to the goutetsu picture. he should move like tony jaa and block with his feet ( i think ) but man that looks like a sick sprites also he looks younger than gouken there when he should look old and quite ancient.

please don't. this would turn Goutetsu into a Muay Thai Fighter, and Goutetsu is a Karate Fighter. Try to do something like Capcom did with Gouken on SFIV if you need, but stay away from tony jaa.

but gouken is strong and rather fat/muscly whereas goutetsu is skinny yet very muscely but i think he should be the fastest character in the game, he looks very nimble and fast just from his stance in that picture i see, he knew anesastu but his punching stance would not be made for strengh like the other anesatsu class, he is more spiritual and therefore to me resembles tony jaa withought his appearance.

but Tony Jaa is Muay Thai fighter. you can do a more spiritual skinny and faster Karate fighter as well.

heck, Neither Gouken or Gouki actually use Goutetsu style 100% (Gouken uses a Non-lethal version and Gouki uses a "surely-lethal" version).

Tony jaa is a muay thai fighter, who mixes thai dances on his style to look good in movies.

Goutetsu is someone who spend his life training and teaching techniques designed to kill people.

there are thousand of way you can remix the known anstasuken moves to fit a quick character.

for instance: you can have Goutetsu's Asura Senkkuu (the teleport) so that, if you press punch+kick just after it, Goutetsu grabs the oponent and shoots a one-hand hadouken on him, throwing him to the edge of the screen. Just because the Hadouken principle is commonly used as a fireball, doesn't mean that is the only way to do it.
