I like actually the sprite you made for Goutetsu, Black. Keep with the idea, that frankenspriting is actually very good. Only you've to fix the face as Tony said it before. For his gameplay, you should mix Gouki and Gouken (from SFIV) gameplay and make what Tony said (he's a human bible about Ansatsuken

)

I hope you show more sprites like that and a shot in MUGEN

Thank you very very much but I have a massive problem i have no more sprites of gen, i did request them in the request section but still nothing, and i cant find them myself, i went through hell just to get the 1 sprite of it.... but if anyone has anymore then i will continure my work

That's no problem, you got 3 places where to look Gen sprites: KONG's MediaFire site, Mugenchina and Just No Point page. Only you've to search well in those places, there you'll find what you look

im a retard with computers i only know basics of spriting and browsing the web.... may i add i was going to open them again and tell you how i did it but all i get in an errorr code, but not just for gen now $:-\$ why is nothing ever easy for me

ok... first download and install 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) this should help you extract the sprites, and is totally free. than right-click on "extract files" and save them to the folder of your choice.

which program are you using to edit the sprites?

Also all the sprites are singular and mixed around so i don't know what gos with what is there a way to put them into a sheet automaticly, if i did it manually i would get it wrong.

you really don't want to make them into a sheet. MUGEN does not use sheets, so you would only have extra trouble.

and its not like you are doing a Gen. you are only using his body parts to make another person. Like Victor Frakenstein did with the monster, but with more kick ass results

so yeah... manually is the only way to go.

ok... MUGEN uses PCX files for its graphics, and Paint can't read them.

since you are more used to paint, i suggest to download paint.net (http://paint.net/) and then the PCX plugin to it (http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2493)

i tested both here and it should work fine.

But i was thinking of just doing the moves list and the graphics and basicly creating the character and was going to find someone who liked my art work and project and was willing to code him, im too damn stupid for that lol heck ive never played mugen i just wanna make haracters and then maybe play it in the near future

, can i not still use paint just to do the graphics?

but even if you are only doing the graphics, it would be better to have them already at a format mugen can read.

think like this: the coder knows way less about graphics than you. He probably does not even know how to cut a image. if he as to cut each image out of the sheet before doing what he likes (coding), he will probably ignore your work and find somebody else.

and paint.net is like a turbo version of paint. you probably won't have any troubles using it.
(and is one of the programs recommended by some of the top spriters around here).

Ok so i installed paint.net which when i download it changed it's name to dotnetf35setup.net and after installing it all it does it ask me to patch it which i did and then after that i have to patch it again and again whick i also and now i have to install it again and again? ???

no. not at all... this program are the .net drivers needed for the program. that is all.
(don't worry. its microsoft, so it won't spoil anything on your pc).

simply check if there is already a paint.net shortcut on your desktop.
