Mine would have to be Melee because its very fast paced. Brawl has lots of characters but tends to be slow paced. The one on the N64 is nice but it doesnt haven't have as much moves for each character. Whats your favorite Brawl?

Brawl definitely.
Without Brawl, there would be no Pikadorf. (Ganonchu)

Melee had the black hole glitch, but that pales in comparison to the glitches in Brawl. (Not counting the aforementioned gameshark? hack)

Loved SSB on the N64.
Hated Melee on the GC.
Indifferent to Brawl.

Melee has the better gameplay (faster, less "airy"), but Brawl has better characters (Snake, non-Jew Ganondorf [never liked the OoT nose]). Since Smash Bros is a fanservice game mostly, I'll say Brawl.

The first, which was the only one I've played. Granted, the first was, to me, slightly underwhelming.
QuoteImagine a zanguief runing to attack ryu, ryu does a quick+kind of weak fast punch and hit the chest of zanguief, will this punch be enough to zanguief say/think \"oh no, this punch hurted a little, I better stop the attack and put my hand on my chest to help contain the pain while ignoring if ryu is going to make other attacks now"

all of them are great, but I guess liked the gameplay of Melee, and Characters from Brawl.
If they could combine those 2 factors into 1 game, and added a better-than-decent online mode, I would never see the light of day again.

I like the original Smash Bros. and Melee. :P

Well how come you like it ?
I like it because its different from most fighters. You dont have a health bar but instead, a damage percentage bar that determines how far you'll be sent off the battlefield. Its kind of like king of the hill. Also, its the only game that features Starfox kicking Marios ass. Sure wish I could have that on MUGEN...

I like all the smash games. But my fav at this point is brawl, its got more versatile gameplay and has less character cloning then the last 2. My only gripe is online play and Mario's down B

If I had to chose my favorite one it would be Brawl or Melee. But I still like all of them.
