I made this as my first character and it is going great!

Hamtaro has the basic attacks (and almost basic) for a character. I'm currently thinking on which sprites for specials and getting attacked.

yeah, there were four games released in the U.S.  One for the Game Boy Color, and three for the Game Boy advance.  There is a new coming coming here to the DS by Natsume

His cartoon was geared towards preschool to middle-graders, but he was SO hypnotic in a trippy way..
Speaking of Trippy, will Jingle make an appearance? The ham ham with a mohawk and guitar.

i don't know if you want to add some wacky supers, but i have a suggestion, which could spoil the char, still, it's your decision.
Do the cricket swarm, where they manufacture everywhere devastation. Only hamtaro clones though

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. And here are some updates for Hamtaro:
The regular Ham-chat you greet with is now his taunt!

Also added trippping, fliying up, and falling down when hit.
