Thanks. I think. Well, I'm doing basic movements right now. I'm in the middle of making the running animation. Then I'll do the jump and slide. Then edit them all to make him shoot while running and jumping. I have sprited his head in 15 angles already, but I'm sure I'm about to make a lot more heads for him. When it's done, I might make an animation with the heads spinning and such. Here's my current progress on him. I JPEGed it.

Thanks, can you guys actually find me a good stance for Protoman when I make his body? I don't like the fact that he only has a head. BTW, please look closely at the buster shot SFX I made in that sheet. Which one is better, the one above or the one below?

the best one i seen chibi sized anyways..but all in all still great work hope you get to meet your goal...Do you has any plans to do any other Megaman like X?

Yea that run looks like it took a while to do, with him turning his head and the appropriate upper and lower body movements to match. Look very fluid, great job

Thanks guys. I don't know about making other series characters like X or Zero, I've never thought of it. The jumping is done and a half-charge buster shot is done. I'm just going to make sliding and stop run then the full-charge buster shot. I might not post any animations yet because I want to keep the flow of progress steady and not anymore delays. If I turn this into a game, should it be a new Megaman-style game or just another MUGEN with a different style of gameplay?

I have a suggestion for protoman's stance.
while your Megaman has a jumpy-ish stance, you should make Protoman's stance standing really still while his scarf blows in the wind, like this:

Well, I've made a sprite for Protoman. Hope you guys like it. Slide is also done. Can anyone suggest a thing or two for the gameplay? I still haven't decided if I should give him any melee attacks.

I think kick 1. Kick 2 looks too slow (too many frames) and the arms move way too much. I would definitely pick kick 1.
