Another Megaman X

Alright, I did some retouches on X's design hes taller and i completely redid his helmet and face. take a look and tell me what u think. I took most of the advice and applied it.  he now has a nose, a more teeagerish face.  i darkend the green in his eyes to make it stand out more.  the only thing im not really satisfied with is the mouth.  when the anim is done, he will blink so that will at least put some movement to his face.

As an artist, I'll tell you right now it might be better for him to have a closed mouth, possibly in a small frown, or a straight face.

I like the new pose as well.

ok, i made his right cheek 1 pixel wider he kinda looks like his face was sucked in a bit and gave him a closed mouth.

The shading on his artist left arm bothers me. Where is your light source?

The shading on the legs is telling me it's from the front.

Stance- Too much?  Not enough? Just right?

He's leaning forward way too much. Is that supposed to be a breathing stance? If so, it should focus more on moving vertically.

In addition of the errors ~*Ishida-Uryuu*~  has pointed, i think you can improve it in these points:

- The nose is too close to the eye and the shape of it make him looks like more the american cartoon Megaman than X.
- You've extended his legs and arms but the chest is the same than the older sprites and the same size from MvC Megaman. Extend it and bring down the shoulders a few pixels.
- The animation is very poor. The navy blue parts are intended to be armor. In the legs the armor bends. Work more in the joints. Also the chest looks dislocated when he returns to the highest position.

Dude.. I'm gonna be dead honest with you.  I think it sucks.  It looks like he's touching himself, and his right hand looks like a rabbit's paw.
Why don't you just draw him from scratch?  Don't use any piece from the original megaman.  It might take a while, but, it might look better.

Just... take you time, and start over.  Or, I dunno, maybe I could even draw it for you (I'm serious).  Look at my previous post... It's within last three posts..

i disagree i think that its actually pretty good...maybe he was going for the capcom feel..anyways in my opinion its hot he just needs to work on the standing animation

You got the design of the helmet wrong. The ear/hole thingy isn't attached to the cyan headband looking thingy.

And you have bad taste in custom sprites.  I was also going for a capcom feel..  But, I still didn't use any piece of the original megaman sprite.

X is pissed.
