I was wondering if there was a way to make player 2 face the opposite way without having to hit them first

Byakko

You can emulate this effect by
-creating a helper
-making your character invisible
-making your invisible character go behind the opponent (close to him) : the opponent will turn around
-the helper plays the animation of your character and performs the attack
That way it will look like the opponent turns around and your character attacks him from behind (this will actually be the helper)
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

What of it ?

Should make things simpler if you have a teammate, and the presence of that teammate is making your opponent turn his back on your character.

I have the helper set up to go behind the attacker regardless based on his axis

Byakko

Yeah, as long as the invisible character goes immediately right behind the opponent and then sticks close to him, the opponent will turn away from the helper no matter what, it doesn't matter if you have a teammate or not.
