Recording program

Can anyone suggest a recording program i should use to record mugen in hi res? i tried camtasia studio but that lagged the hell out the videos

if you can handle it, try fraps, but you need ALOT of hard drive space for it.

i use hyper cam because im cheap and dont care for video quality 8)

well im on a laptop so i doubt i could handle fraps, imma try hyper cam.

I don't think Fraps even detects Mugen Plus..does it? If so then yeah its definitely worth trying out.

If not..Snagit is pretty good for typical Mugen matches, just as long as you use an Xvid or Divx Codec. If you do go the Snagit route, its good to go to Input > Video Capture Preferences > and check off everything except Boost Priority. Otherwise just make sure its set to Output to file and you should be good to go.

I find it takes a bit more configuration to record 3d stages and such though, but aside from that I highly recommend Snagit. All my Mugen videos were done using that program and the settings I suggested, and came out just perfect.
