Right now, i'm working on a super attack for my character, that will allow him to appear at different positions on the screen at a different time.

If I do it on the left, it's all good, but if I do this on the right side...

He appears there instead.

Is there some sort of trigger I can use to solve this?

Use backedgebodydist in a posadd to send him behind. remember to floor it as well.

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

Bumped this topic, because i've ran into another position problem.

With my character's super attack, it places the opponent in the middle of the screen and into a custom state, which is what I wanted to happen. However, If there's 3-4 players in the stage, when the camera moves left or right, the opponent being attacked by the super attack will move off position, no longer in the center.

So my question is, how can I keep the opponent in the center of the screen at all times in a super attack? Or, how can I get the players back to the center of the stage when the attack starts?

Thanks.

A helper set to screen center as well with screenbound off, and a screen sized width fixes this.

I've made the helper, and gave it the width of the screen size, but i'm not exactly sure what to do from here. I know it sounds stupid, but I haven't done any helpers like this before, and no matter what trigger I try, it doesn't seem to make the opponent stay in the middle. The width doesn't stop the player from going past it either.

- Use a posset-sctrl that constantly sets the helper's position to zero.

- Use a screenbound-sctrl to turn off screenbound. Add the movecamera parameter so that it has a value of one (at least for the X-axis).

- Use a width-sctrl with a back and front value equal to the screen's length. I think that could be "160, 160" or something.  :S

Worked wonders. Thank you Rajaa :)
