If one doesn't know DFO is a MMO Beat'em up/Fighter (hence me putting this thread here) that recently came out. I've played a bit of it and it's a nice game. It has it's problems though.

As said, it's a Beat'em up styled MMO. I haven't played much so I can't say much about the different classes (My only experience is with the Fighter class). You do dungeons, get treasures and gold and crap, you level up and you get skill points to get new moves, upgrade moves, and gain the ability to cancel normal moves with special moves (although I'm not leveled enough to have tried it out).

I say it's worth a shot, but as I said, I have a few problems with it. The towns can look rather crowded when there's a bunch of people around (remember, this is a 2D, beat-em up styled game. Imagine a screen with 20 other characters.), and the menu windows are too large for my taste.

But my biggest gripe is the stamina system. Everyone has, I thinnk, 156 stamina points (I don't know if theres any variations, nor how much it could increase with paid services). Going into a dungeon costs 1 point. And going into one new room inside a dungeon costs an extra point (meaning a 15 room dungeon will drain, if you go into every room, 15 stamina points, regardless of any backtracking.) Also, the stamina points are refilled once per day (6AM server time). This means that the amount of dungeons you can do is limited.

Still, I guess it's worth a shot.

I'd link to some videos but most of them are for the overseas servers, while in America there isn't too much to the game yet.

I only played it like twice before I stopped. All I did was spam bullets jumping in the air and run away.

...it just arrived in 'Murika.

DFO was in Korea, Taiwan, China, basically everywhere in South East Asia.
Japan had a different treatment, Arad Senki, which is basically the same, except more developed.

The American version is based off of Arad Senki, and is apparently harder.

And it shows. I've explored Shadow Thunderland: King's Road and THOSE FUCKING MOBS AND THIS GODDAMN BLEEDING STATUS FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I was lazy and didn't put it in. But I'll add it to the first post.

But as I already said, no videos because a lot of them are Korean videos with stuff the NA version don't have yet.

It's a really fun game.

Also I'm gonna plug my video - SNK Moves In My Dungeon Fighter. There's alot more skills in the game similiar to moves in other fighting games, like Fighter's can get a Hurricane Kick, a Shoryuken/Shinryuken, Krauser's Gigatec Cyclone, Monk's get Joe's Bakuretsuken, Exorcist's get Juzo's Yurashi, and Mechanic's get a move that is exactly like MvC's Jin's Blodia Punch. :)

Unfortunately, none of my characters are high enough level to get those skills, or they aren't implemented yet...

I've taken a small break from the game, but, yeah, I've noticed there were a few "inspired" moves.

And I find "Worlds Greatest Low Kick" A pretty funny name for a move.

Man, I haven't seen this many borrowed moves since that one Chuck Norris game I played on my cell phone. You could get him Raging Storm, Kyo's upward flame moves, Tatsumaki, Genocide cutter, and a couple others.
