I first heard of Mugen when i was in high school back in 2003. My friends mentioned to me that someone would bring a game to school time to time and would play it in the computer lab. It was a fighting game that had characters like Pikachu, Cloud, Ryu, Mai from Fatal Fury, Goku, etc. I wanted to believe them but I just laughed at it. Every once in while they would tell me this and would have great stories of not just who was fighting but how many characters were on the screen at once. They would say like Pikachu and Ryu would be on the same team and i really took it as a joke. Not until one day I finally caught up to the guy who was playing it and my jaw dropped.

Me and one of my guys investigated it more that night on the internet and found the download for a game called Mugen. It took us to about 2:00 in the morning to learn how to put characters in the game. Sadly we only had three characters: KFM, Cyclops and Sonic, but we played the hell out of that game. I haven't stopped playing it since.

I found out about M.U.G.E.N from TV Tropes and a different forum. What got me interested in it was a YouTube video where Kyubey was getting massacred by a particularly large roster of characters.

Now I have M.U.G.E.N. And a number of characters that were involved in the aforementioned Kyubey killing. Utsuho Reiuji, Cinnamon, Peter, Ella, Batman, Adam West Batman, and Goddamn Batman. Sadly, I don't have Kyubey myself, 'cause I'd like to use him as my own personal punching bag.

Probably one of my favorite characters in my roster though is a Hinata Hyuuga that I found. And Uryuu.

Back when I was in Year 7 (which was the year 2011), I was watching YouTube and I saw a MUGEN video of Homer fighting Peter Griffin. I saw a few more videos, looked up "MUGEN" in Google and downloaded it and I've had heaps of fun playing it ever since.

I met Mugen back in 2K something (I think it was 5 or 4) when I saw a video of "Angel Ken." When I tried to find it, elecbyte was dead. So I kept looking and found a copy in Random Select.

Loving every minute of it! (Yes, like the song)  :innocent:
