The one thing I noticed with both your Kratos and this Spawn is that they're too small. Kratos is 7 feet and spawn is 6'11 feet tall but their sprites are similar sizes as most 5'10 to 6 feet kof fighters. Found that odd. Maybe you should use taller characters to base spawn off instead of Kim.
Kim is slouching in that reference sprite so Spawn is bound to look shorter even though he's standing.Just readjusting the waist should do the trick!

Him being hunched over makes him look even shorter. In the end its your preference but I just wanted to point out the inconsistencies.
