Hello all so I am trying to get mugen to run on a pi 4. Thus  far I have got it running in DOS box very low frames per second around 12. I know there are others like possum who is trying to get it done. I love to work with some of you guys I’m getting this done I’ll considered using it as a port inside of retro pie or whatever Front end you are using. It doesn’t seem like it be too difficult all you do is program as an emulator itself or import as it is imported to PSP .
Let me know if you guys have any pointers belts or anything somewhere like that. Will update more as soon as I can this is literally what I’m trying to do on my pi more than anything. I’d love to see a whole SD card was six different Screen packs in a selection Screen similar to emulation station.

Thanks signed troopa shells

He means a Raspberry Pi 4, an ARM-based single board computer.
On that front, just request for a Linux port of Ikemen if there isn't one already and run that on Linux-based OS's.

Would be fun to see Ikemen running on a Pi, tbh!

Yes raspberry pi 4.
And I’ve tried a few Linux ports before the didn’t work.
I’m talking about re-compiling or something similar.
Where ikemen or mugen having its own “emu “ . Like a port, quake 3 for example, on pi 4.
I’ve seen “opossumdaemon” I believe his name is tryingon here before .
If i Can get a different/better Linux port , I’d be willing to try that way.

Mugen is an epic task for an ARM CPU.  You're going to need to find the source for one of the Ikemen versions and compile that to run on whatever OS the Pi 4 has.  You're never going to get good performance with an emulator or API layer.

Interesting . I now have open mugen for apps running inside retropi on my pi 4. Runs great with control capabilities.
The only problem I have now is open mugen doesn’t have same set up as “normal” mugen . It just starts with two king fu mans says fight . No timer, no health bars , just fight . Has a FPS counter in top which is great .
So anyone messed with psp open mugen before ?

Notagoodname that would be ideal to compline to pi os. I runs Linux but I never got the Linux versions  to run at all.
