[preview][/preview]Hello all and what a long time it's been.I've been taking a break from MUGEN latelybut now i'm back doing some spriting.I have been working on my Goku Z2,which is roughly Street Fighter Alpha scale.Currently i have his stance, 3 punches, 5 kicks, 2 special move kicks, powering up, air guard, special landing and a front flip. The bases used for him; there are a lot KOF chars and a little ShinB Goku, also he has his stance from Budokai.I am searching for a talented and realiable programmer for him, preforably someone skilled in Street Fighter-type characters.Because, i want this Goku to play like a SF char, not so much a DBZ char.I also have a concept of his movelist but that's discussable ofcourse. Here are some animated gifs of him, and please reply (and don't rip ) !
The sprites are amazing I can code..But Ive never tried SF style So idk..Maybe Pots would be interested
Looks great, I'm interested since I've had this sort of balanced DBZ character idea once a long time ago.PM or email me with more details so we can work this out.
I play SF quite alot so I would probably know what gameplay you would like. I wouldn't mind trying to code him, it would be a learning experience and the great thing is your supplying some awesome sprites. PM me if you want to work out something.
kamekaze said, April 21, 2010, 08:40:16 PMI'd give it a shot but I'm not sure how I'd transpose goku into capcom style.Super DBZ is as Capcom-style as it can get, just check it out. :V
I can beta-test for whoever is taken as a coder ! Anyway, great sprites. The topic could be moved somewhere else though, as this is not a release.
thank you for the replies, and sorry i made a mistake in posting in the wrong section!i've copied this tread to the Projects section ^^
Also, what I'd suggest is you release a sprite pack for coders to use. That way people won't be left out if they wanted to code the character. It's not always a good idea but, I think it'll work for you.
Hmm yes i'm still not sure what i would do with him, ofcourse a buttload of work goes into making a spritesheetand i had in mind making the char together with a programmer,so i can get some of my wishes into the char maybe XDBut yeah i don't have it all figured out yet,as for now i'll keep adding sprites, maybe wait for a super talent programmer to approachand release the sprite pack AFTER the char is finished, maybe? That sounds about right ^^

Here's one more to keep things interesting.I've actually videotaped myself doing a roundhouse kickand then i traced it and edited into Goku
Balthazar, I would really like to help code, but it would be in my own balanced-dbz style. For example, something like my majin vegeta, but more simple with combos.http://mugentheory.com/CharsPage1.aspxanyway, great looking sprites.
I like the sprites a lot, and I always thinking in make a DBZ character in a more balanced style than in DBZ games...Yeah, I could coded your Goku, but I wanted to know (as other creators over there) how many sprites you made of him, I mean at least enough to make basics in MUGEN
