Basically, this character uses P.o.t.S.'s gameplay system; his characters being the Platonic ideal of sorts.

EDIT3: Just a quick fix. I noticed that EX Golden Heel can't hit crouching opponents (thus negating its purpose as an overhead), so I lowered the y velocity. So if you're one of the 10 people who downloaded the previous update, sorry.  :(

Can't really give feedback since I am not the character kind of guy, but I can tell you this. This Joe will remain in my mugen for a very long time, congrats sir you have created my favorite Joe Higashi.

I'm not much of a Joe player either, so I can't say much about combos and all, but he feels good and solid. I see a lot of code was taken from POTS, and he basically plays like a POTS character (effects, hitpauses, commands and Super styles, Readme, etc.), but I can't say that's bad. :P

- Ex Slash Kick causes debug flood on some characters (namely, SPO Ryu by Rikard). "In state 1148, changed to invalid action 5061". You may be refering to a non required animation.
- F+2p throw could get some envshake.
- I still think the yellow palFX you're using during Ex moves is TOO yellow.

Really nice character, and moreover if it's your first one.

Since these are all quick fixes, I just updated the file on mediafire to fix the first two things. But I'm keeping the yellow PalFX. I like it.  ;P



Also I mentioned before (on the project thread) that I didn't really like how EX Golden Heel currently behaves. Anyone got any suggestions?

Since EX Slash kick causes the enemy to bounce off the wall to be juggled, I'd rather not have EX Golden Heel do a similar thing. But more hits sounds good. Thoughts anyone?

WELP

Played around a bit here, some things I noticed, both concerning the same super, Exploding Hurricane Tiger Heel.

Firstly, when I do the command when right next to opponents to do the lvl 2 version, I end up grabbing them.

Lvl 2 version feels like it does too much damage.

Occasionally on occasional characters, the tiger knee at the end misses depending on the characters, I suggest having tiger knee go up at a better angle, instead of straight up.

I'll keep testing tomorrow, for now this is all I have.

EDIT: He jumps too high, he should be a bit heavier.

I'll be honest here: if P.o.t.S.'s characters didn't exist, neither would this one. Most of the code is P.o.t.S.'s.

That's actually the picture I was going to use as the hyper portrait, until I realized that Joe doesn't have his upper arm bands in KOFXII. But it looks much, much better than the one that is currently there. Is it alright if I add this as an alternate hyper portrait?

back dash is too slow and too short
i can perform the ora ora punches too easy by just pressing x y and z
(i think it's better if you copy pots' honda Hyakuretsu Harite code for the ora ora punches)

this joe is good you have to tweak some codes and it would be as good as pots' or even better

yeah i noticed that too, try to make his hurricane upper and Slash Kick easier like {DB,D,DF,F, Punch}
