Nice and nice!I'm almost done with the ridiculously tedious process of adding/fixing color separations on about 435 sprites!
Can't wait! In the meantime, a few more pals:Living in a Cardboard Bot:Light Blue Alt Pal:Nova:Getter Dragon:
I like them! Thanks!I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do when there's > 12 palettes Quick status update: 99% done with fixing my sprites... I processed them all, loaded them in and the alternate pals work But I noticed a few minor mistakes I made here and there. So progress is GOOD.
2 optionsAdd them all to the character and let the users customize themoption 2Add a color select option before the match startsI've actually been working on a palette for you myself. But holidays have been slowing me down
Yeah, worse comes to worst, just pick your favorite 12 pals and put them in the character, then include the rest in the/a palette folder. Or a palette selector, like Just No Point said, although personally, I usually disable them. It bothers me when only a few characters have something like that, since most characters do not, and I'm waaaaaay too lazy to start adding pal selectors to characters. Whatever you feel most comfortable with.Yeah, I basically just repeated what Just No Point said. Life is difficult.
Well, quasi alternative ideasDo both and have a config file so someone can choose to have the default 12 or pal selection.Or make 1 palette of the 12 pal selection (this one shouldn't be accessed by ai)
Thanks guys!I might make a custom palette selector... I don't like most of the ones I've seen.Or I might just stick the extras in another folder.Or might do both + config
You shouldn't have to worry about making another folder for pals. SFF2 remidies that by having it stored in the SFF.But if you want to it's your choice.

Just popping in to report that I finally completed the process of updating all my sprites with the correct/new separations!I'm really excited about it. I'll post a video tomorrow!
I had put together a video compilation showing more of the palettes, and other moves/anims, but the sound quality was awful and was pretty crappy overall. So here is just the Kick Ass palette *EDIT* and I'll post some gifs as I find some time (Anims Deleted)
Man, JB is looking so cool. I love that move where he takes off his head and hits someone with it. You really put a lot of creativity into this, and it shows. Just awesome. Can't wait for this. I have to admit, I love seeing the gif with my rainbow/crayola pal. And that fly swatter and the drill. Fantastic! He's really turned into something special. Thank you for sharing all of your hard work.
@RoySquadRocks @WlanmaniaX I'm not sure what method you used to make these pals, but as far as I know you must keep the image indexed, and just edit the palette directly without converting the image.Aside from the 3 from RSR and the 1 from Wlan, Jailbot currently has 23 palettes! Thank you everyone!Looking forward to see what JNP has cooked up
Reporting some stuff before 2015 closes out!I'm testing the water for pre-fight palette selection. With all the *current!* alternate palettes installed and functioning, I decided to customize the "Glow" effect during the his Arcade Hyper so that it matches his "face color". For the pals where his face is darker, I assigned an inverted pal, and the Explod has subtractive transparency instead of additive. It looks good!!!I made a special set of rainbow pals for the glow that cycle randomly when Jailbot is using the Crayola Killa palette With all that being said, I'm finally just about ready to get back to his remaining basic attacks lolA video is uploading and should be done pretty soon...

Aw, video's not working for me yet, looking forward to it when it's done.By the way, just thought I'd throw this offer out there, I know you have a ton of pals now (I think 9 just from me, ha), but if there are any pals you'd really like to have in the char, to save you some time, I'd be more than happy to make something for you, just tell me what you want.
