Sup, all. It's been a couple of months since my recent laptop died but I finally found something that finally brought total motivation back. I wanted to play MUGEN again and of course, since I'm on Windows 10, the app closes suddenly at random. I finally realized why it does that: the MvC2 tag system I modified was buggy and were full of debug stuff. I've decided to discontinue the MvC2 System Based Project and start something brand new.

I downloaded Jesuszilla's MUGEN Fighting Jam Screenpack and tinkered around with it and something finally came to my head. Since a SP was made already, I thought it'll be a good idea to make an actual fullgame out of this so I went ahead and started experimenting and I call this new project: MUGEN Tag Fighting Jam. Of course, there's the 1v1 option.

What's in this?
-Customized ingame lifebar that function like the source. The lifebars, however, change color depending how much health a fighter has left. These lifebars disappear instantly if a fighter is KO'd.
Light Blue =  Max Health
Green = 51-99% health
Yellow = 26-50% health
Red-Orange = 1-25% health
-Modified Simul Lifebars. Now you can see P3 and P4's faces.
-Customized Select & Lifebar portraits
-Hi-res hitsparks and guardsparks
-Hyper move names when doing a Hyper move.
-6-button fighting format with comboing and aerial raving.
-Debug-free Tag System with 1 Assist move. There's a 3 second delay at the start of a round and during the match after a partner made their assist appearance.

Release date: TBA (I'll announce it when I have 15 fighters.)

What I explained in the first post, explains what they have. And this time, I'll make sure there is not one debug flood problem. For the fighters for this project, converting them won't be a problem because I'm using as few as variables as possible to avoid having to renumber one on the original.

Next fighter for the starting roster will be Ryu by the VS Debuts team

Hello, I love this project. I am interested in the tag system, emm is a tag system that works for all chars?
And also I was wondering if you are going to see some beta of the tag system.

It's a tag system that will only work for the characters I convert to this project's format. This can't be used in any other MUGEN. Once I release this MUGEN, the tag system will be open-source cuz I will have download links for fighters in HERE ONLY.

Also, Ryu is finished. Next up is Jon Talbain/Gallon by the VS Debuts Team

you should have converted a cvs ryu instead since you ARE doing a fighting jam-based game. I suggest looking at lost_avengers' stuff, his things are very accurate to the source games and are the way to go

amazing coding there, nice when the code turn a low animations characters like street fighter alpha and darkstalkers in a smooth animated speed and timings

Back from my weekend away from home. I took my project with me via USB to work on it some more and I forgot to bring Lost_Avenger's Cammy with me. So instead I picked 2 fighters from my MvC2 project to convert to this and by surprise, they took 2 to 2 1/2 hours only each to convert. Anyway, I converted the Magneto and WereGarurumon from my old project to this one. This week, I'll be working on Cammy. Stay tuned for updates. I'm almost past the midpoint.

nice to hear, but please fix the horrendous hitboxes magneto has, we never did come around to updating those ugly boxes kong put in the .air file, now is a good time for that

I thought the CLSNs was fine and that Kong had a file that make the CLSN's twice as big. I need to find where to start the fix. This Magneto came straight from the MvC2 Project.

This makes me happy nice job on bark and bison.

Fixed Magneto's bad hitboxes in his attacks and finished Cammy. Will be showcasing a survival run of her soon.
Next fighters in this order: Hayato (by Mouser), Fox McCloud (by Chotto-Komaru) and Kyosuke (by Lost_Avenger).
