Hey broz,

Long time no see...

Artificial intelligence has brought me back to life.

I see this as a crucial opportunity across all sectors, so naturally, my brain gravitated back here, especially since I still have all the resources from back in the day. They're completely intact.

Before diving into yet another colossal project, I’d like to know if there are already any AI-based projects in the works—particularly anything related to a return of ElecBytes or an update of MUGEN 1.1.

On a similar note, has anyone come across AI-developed tools aimed at enhancing existing MUGEN creations?

Of course, you can imagine my brain is on fire right now. Especially since I’m currently following AI as closely as I used to follow MUGEN back in the day...

I’m open to any and all information because, from this point forward, everything is about to become truly useful for everyone.

Good to see you back, bro :8):

I've working with a couple of AI tools that served me for MUGEN. I mostly use TinyWow, a multi-use tools that works with image, audio and video to make whatever you want. Some of the tools I used are to upscale images (in the case of Klaymen to get bigger sprites from Skullmonkeys to the size of The Neverhood) and to remove objects from photos, which I used for ClayFighter III beta images to remove elements to be usable to make stages.
Also I use FakeYou to simul voices with AI with text or voice, which I used it for ClayFighter again, making the LA voice of Homer Simpson (Humberto Velez) into the voice of HoboCop with english dialogs

There're other creators like POTS who make stages based on AI-generated images, there's an interesting thread about that here, take a look ;)

You can help with Ikemen GO's development by trying out the latest development build and reporting any bugs on GitHub.
My Mugen and Ikemen content can also be found here.

Heyyyyy Basara-Kun & POTS, how are you broz?

Big thanks for the tips that i'm gonna integrate right now to my current searches...

I'm interested in all mugen-related rss  :hyo:

The mugen community will take all benefits of the numerous projects currently in progress

The first thing that should come is a complete mugen bible as base for the other projects

nb: @POTS: be sure that nothing - like IKEMEN - will be forgotten  - and i'm just MAD about the AI generated bgs <3

I used flux (and to a lesser extent SDXL) to try and generate some images.  It's an option, I guess.

Vocal stuff:
You could make an account on weights.gg, record 3-5 minutes of audio (at least.  no sounds or crosstalk, and if you're worried the audio's still contaminated with music, run it through the online version of Ultimate Vocal Remover), use the free training to get a voice model that you can then plug into something like Applio, and either record some lines with a microphone, or run some audio through it to try and make it sound like someone else.  Edit: This option is for you don't have the VRAM to use UVR or train a voice model on your computer.
Examples (I know a guy.....):
AF attempt 1: A chatty KF spriteswap
AF attempt 2: Dunno, but it might've involved Hyo with other sword-characters moves
Edit: I JUST REMEMBERED I HAD THIS:
XV Rugal saying 2002 Rugal's lines (sorta.  It doesn't handle laughing)

I'm currently making some... cleaning among all my very old backups...

As i'm not aware of current community rules, i'd like to know if it's possible to share temporarily:
- Some very old mugen datas packs that i collected from 2002 to 2006
- Some old versions of the mugen museum that contains too old datas from other creators... (like latest dos mugen museum, further winmugen museums, etc.) and stuff like this:

Just lemme know and i'll place them for limited time on my mega account :)

Hey Electrocaid glad that you are back and ready to share.
But, how am I suppose to request from you? Should I follow the example at Scal's Forum? Sure, I would like those packs. You can give me mega links by email if you want.

Hi electrocaid, welcome back, I don't know you, I'm sure you're older in here than me.
About the AI stuffy, are you thinking about ikemen go too ? Because everyone is migrating to ikemen go nowdays. and AI and ikemen go are perfect match...at least I don't use mugen1.1 anymore.
The only problem I have most of the stages and screenpack of ikemen go are 16:9, and not 4:3. (since I use a lot warusaki's chars with lifebar, is it a problem). Thanks to POTS now we have a decent screenpack where works perfect with 4:3.
Also in tag mode, in the char died, it doesn't disappear
I would love to see 3d AI stages in 4:3. and I'd love to see a decent voice a announcer who can spells romanji and english words (the diference between those two).
Btw, I don't know what you used to create (chars, stages, etc..), but these are my hopes for ikemen go and AI

It's perfectly fine to share old data packs now; it is actually encouraged. Many of the newer community members would love the history lesson of seeing these older character versions.
Hopefully someday I'll be able to make the little puffball on my profile pic.

Quick heads-up to everyone interested in the old packs:
I'm actively working on a tool to automate requests and file access, so in the near future, you’ll be able to browse and download everything without needing to ask individually.
Until that system is ready, I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to respond to all requests.
If there’s something you really need, please send me an email directly—I’ll handle those manually as time permits.
Also, just to clarify:
Before I host or share any old data publicly, especially content from other creators (2002–2006 era), I’d like to get some guidance from the moderators, at least from the Guild’s side.
I want to be sure everything is shared with respect to current community rules and expectations.
Thanks again for the support and encouragement—it’s really energizing to be back here.

Nb: I'm also working on a way to solve all troubles linked to several engines uses by the community - an unique open-source engine fully compatible with both would be convenient
