First real attempt at KOF style

Since Tuesday, I was working on this sprite and even started of an animation. I just need to know if there are any flaws or even if I need to retouch this sprite and animation.

Please note that I've never learn how to animate my own custom sprites.

Yeah, I've tried to imitate Blue Mary's stance as far as her "knockers" are concerned. I need to relook at Mary's stance (or someone simular) to make her boobs bounce differently.
I admit the tail is messed up because I wasn't sure how to animate it the right way.
As far as KOF-style shading, what would be the best way to do so to imitate the correct style?

light comes from the upper right... the best way would be using 5 tones of color for stuff and look at similar sprites.

The boobs looks choppy. Its also pillow shaded. Other than that. A good attempt.

I'll give you a hint: She only appeared in the non-canon Starfox Comic...

add more contrast to the boots and her upper body, and change the bg color for it does confuse my eyes.

I guess I was too focus or her original design:

By the way, I know her boobs are smaller and her head is bigger here, but the sprite itself is from my own "sick" design.

Minor stance update (attemp no. 5)


Minor tweak to the left knee and fixed the tail a bit. I'll redo the animation another time.
