Besides the obvious need of some shading, he needs to be me smaller and much more hunched like he's supposed to be. Right now he looks more like Paine in her Tonberry costume.

Kewl, although personally I don't like the eye & the cheek(?) there- the changed eye seems kinda awkward - I LOVE the knife however

EDIT: Also, he looks cuter with the oval eyes instead of bug eyes (with his current resolution bug eyes look fugly)

EDIT2: I've been using your sprite to make corrections, and the shoe looks better without the sole

and thanks for correcting his tail anatomy & reminding me about the shoes  (I was really unsure & lazy at the time, & the rest of the fanarts portray him unshoed, but shoes'll be easier than feet anyway )

He's slow AND small, so he has high damage, infinite priority attacks & slightly higher than normal defense. the details are in the first post.

Also, his small size is an advantage- so he's harder to hit.

Too small and he'd get annoying to fight (and tournament banned )

Overall, I'm surprised at how much feedback I've got; 14 replies in ONE DAY?!  DAAAIMN!!!

EDIT: For enticement I give you the animation for the Quickstabs/illusion stabs attack:



I'm not completely satisfied with it, but it was fun to make, (it originally had him standing still, but he looks more dynamic when he's fidgeting like that)
