After a year of work off and on I bring to you my 1st creation. Kazuya Mishima of Tekken fame in cvs styled sprites as well as "cvs-ish" gameplay. :P There is still work to be done as with all wips and will be addressed in future updates. Be sure to check the read me for all credit and contributions. Sprites are open source no need to ask permission.

This being your first character, it's good. But it doesn't feel as smooth as CvS. Haven't found any real bugs yet.

there are 3 music files in it that equals about 37MB. blame them. also heres some feedback:

First of all, he feels really stiff
 1. The intro with the blue guy looks really tacky. It needs vel sets and not posadds
 2.his D,DB,B kick attack has no fluidity at all.
 3. his medium punch looks useless
 4. all of his attacks look stiff pretty much
 5. His jump animation looks silly. He flutters in the air basically
 6. His attacks lack impact.

Secondly, He has bugs
 1. The helicopter sound doesnt go away if u skip one of his intros
 2. His attacks have no impact what so ever.
 3. His Devil hyper takes 1 lvl to use, takes 50%, AND GIVES POWER BACK. It also looks rather unpolished
 4. His hypers have random damage, are all lvl 1's, and some take over 25%. CvS lvl one hypers usually take about 180-200

Finally, he has some cosmetic issues
 1. Hit sounds are not cvs
 2. If not using cvs sounds then hitsparks have to go too
 3. no voices
 4. wimpy attack sounds.
 5. His portrait appears to have had acid spilled on it.


Overall, this feels more beta than one point anything. Much work to be done, but the sprites are awesome.

One more bug that I've noticed is that when performing the grab with the medium kick
he slides back...the rest is pretty much what kamekaze said but congrats on the release
this is definitely a great job, been expecting this for a long time  and it's finally out :sugoi:

Yeah, that's right forgot those there, I'll fix and re-up later this evening.

All of the above feedback is pretty much your personal opinion, I respect that and I'll see what I can do.

The hyper takes 1 lvl to use, but will not trigger unless you have full power. It's not supposed to add power, but even as a mistake it adds 1. Remember gameplay is not cvs, it's cvs-ish. I'm not good enough in code to do precise cvs gameplay just yet, maybe when its done....I had voices attached to most of his attacks at first, but he was really annoying imo. Combine that with the subject not really being a talkative fighter and this is what you get. I'm trying to get more sounds to work with that aren't so out of place.

CvS-ish requires CvS sounds brah, not just the hitsparks. And as far as I'm concerned, any voice is better than kfm for someone who isn't kfm. The hit sounds that are on him are low and make the attacks look like they dont really do anything. As well as the Whiff sounds sounding weak. That's what I meant.

Well, these sprites are pretty awesome, but he sounds too quiet. And if a file's gonna be 46 mb, then you'd think it would have something as simple as footstep sounds for running. Also, some of the animations seem a bit choppy, but then you did say that the sprites weren't finished yet. Could be great with a little more work to it.
