I tried it and made a video for your.
It worked like magic.

but the IKEMEN release folder only have template, there is no release to download

I downloaded using baidu , which is painfully slow.

240p character portrait unclear relationship should be
The character's localcoord parameter is different from
Screenpack's localcoord parameter.

Screenpack localcoord = 1280x720 (720p)
The character's localcoord needs to be exactly the same as Screenpack.

This looks really impressive. Nice work. My only gripe is that VSelect does not work and will crashes when trying to load the 1.1 exe.

Wait, are you saying that the characters I want to add have to be compatible with the version of IKEMEN this is using?
asking for a friend.

also i'm kinda too stupid to know how the hell a zss folder got in the way of me using the character I used (sakura from pots)

This is a great screenpack, you did a fantastic job with the animations and transitions.
I'm curious about the palette selector, is it an addon or is it part of some version of Ikemen Go?

Love this screenpack but I have a problem that I really don't know how to fix, When I launch the game, It somehow never shows the screen, It's a black screen the whole time

EDIT 1: Realized it was a driver thing

EDIT 2: I'm using high res characters (Mostly OHMSBY & other authors characters) & noticed that when I use the 1280x720 localcoord, They're more smaller, The same for the portrait, How do I fix this?

OHMSBY style characters are Low res characters (programmer perspective). (high res sprites but scaled down to fit into low-res framework. their portrait use low res standard, aka they are using 320x240 localcoord, you can try download one of my char for compare.)
true high res character use 1280x720 or higher localcoord from the beginning.
this is no way to fix it. it was designed that way.

you can try change
xscale = 0.xxx
yscale = 0.xxx

 to
xscale = 1
yscale = 1
in cns file.

and change localcoord = 1280,720 in def file.
to try,

but it will break other codes.

I made some improvement on the screenpack
to allow SD/LD character to display the lifebar indicate at correct place.
request by one of my supportor.

and a workaround to add LD character but with some drawback
