Need help finding Voice Clips

Im stepping into one of my personal biggest projects yet and I need help in something.

I know people usually ask for spritework and stuff, but Im actually looking for voice clips for a char, more specifically voice lines from El Gado from Final Fight Revenge. I know he has to have like 3 lines and hurt or hit sounds, but I really need them but I can find where I can get those.

Someone knows where I can download them?

or in the case I need to take them from the original game, how can I do that? there's any type of tutorial about it?

Lee
Geki

HOLY Those looks amazing!!!!1

Oh, were there SF1 releases? Didn't even realize that lol. I'm actually curious, I may have some ideas for you to try, if you're up for it (and assuming the characters themselves were made, since I'm not sure if they're made or not)~

Yeah I made those, Mike isn't too good of a character to be honest, but Im proud of how Lee and Geki turned out. but you have to find Geki in MA, I'll upload him here later.

It's so fun to actually see someone doing sprites for El Gado. Makes me hopeful about the Final Fight franchise future in mugen.

Yeah, In Im taking this more seriously than I expected, I guess that El Gado and Damnd are the only FF 1 enemies that deserves a full character, El Gado doens't even have a playable char using his original sprites for what I've seen.

But if it doesn't exist, you have to make it.

And speaking of making, I animated a simple Idle pose:

and I also did some palettes for fun:

That's PrimeOp's.

https://www.deviantart.com/primeop

He doesn't update his dA, but he has his own site which he constantly updates. I'll link you to the Final Fight page:

http://scrollboss.illmosis.net/customsprites.php?g=finalfight

Don't sweat about animating the upper body. Oldschool games indeed do that same trick, and isn't that noticeable ingame.

But I must say is kinda trippy seeing his arm behind his back (I believe you were going for that). Not only because one of El Gado's features is that he tends to show off his knife a lot, not conceal it, but my mind keeps trying to correct his arm not behind his back but to his side. I suggest making his hand more noticeable and to his side.

Its kinda hard to notice, yeah, but still, just to add more "flavoir" to his animation.

And the knife in the back its actually his animation in Final Fight Revenge, walking towards the enemy hiding his knife from him, but I'll see if I can change it and make it more notorious

Its me again

I didn't do too much this time because of some stuff I need to focus on.

the most interesting thing I did is that I started animating a sprite of El Gado I found on a stage I downloaded:

I dont know who made it, I searched to found a cps2 style El Gado from Devianart or somewhere else but I didn't found it, so I'll like to credit whoever created this sprite.

before animating him I changed some stuff of his design to make it more simplier and easy for a differenct palletes to work:

and, finally, I created his Forward and Backward walk animation:

as you can see, Im still sucking at animating the upperbody, I'll see what I can do to it.

Thanks you for the help, that post will help me with his Idle animation, wich funny enough its the hardest thing to me to make.

also, I used one of his attacks animations from FF3 to make that punch animation, the only thing I used as a base was his legs, wich are Guile's.

and I'll see if I can give him a more rough face, at the moment Im not so good at making faces, but I'll look for something as a base, maybe Adon?

and the only thing I picked from his CRI redisegn was the lack of sleeves, just because it makes more contrast from the arms to the torso

Thanks for your reply. I think I recognize a bit Guile now, perhaps legs of his hook (MP or something)

about the face, Adon is OK , or perhaps CVS2 Yamazaki to have something simplier.
IMO, you don't have to redaw all the head, just adding few details to make him less "young" or less "cute".

Yes, to me it's the same.
Animating attacks is not that hard, but idle stances and walks can be a pain in the ass.
And other subtle movements, like breathing etc.

Dear God breathing, I tried that with Zeku and I didn't manage to do it. also I use bases for the legs because its the only part I can't manage to make right.

The walk animations will need some work on upper body.

I don't have access to my usual softwares (so there is some glitches) but I did a fast edit with an extra frame (lazy edit)

I added some stretch to it.
If you need the extra frame I ca nsend it as well.

Dont worry, I can see the differece, and yes, it looks good. when you aren't busy can you show me each sprite? so I can see with more detail what you do so I can apply it in the next animations.

Also yeah, I'll add some movement to the upper body of the walk animation, it was mostly to see if the important part, the legs, looks good (you can notice I used Charlie's legs as a base for it)

Thanks for noticing it and not just juging the glitches
Sur, I'll give you the extra frame when I can.

About the new walk it's way better.

Just keep in mind FF2 and FF3 tends to have very simplfied animations for their bosses. (for memory reasons I suppose)
So you might have to give them a bit of life.
Even if I'm not 100% ok with the final result, and this to be an old reference, it's still very interesting for what is missing for your sprites sometimes.
http://petesqbsite.com/sections/tutorials/tuts/tsugumo/chapter10.htm

For the UPPER boddy movement of your new walk, you have to "synchronize" them with each time the whole body goes up or down.
Have a look at Birdie in SFA series can be a reference similar to yours.

And if you want to feel what I mean about upper body elements going up and down (arms, shoulders, etc.) you han have a look at Sakura's walk animation in SFA series. Good way to understand it.

EDIT : I checked more your sprite and the source character from FF3.
The upgrade and redisign are really good! You absolutely nailed it. (and his Shadowloo CRI redisegn was cool as a base)
I would have perhaps gave him a more "rough" face, but I more and more feel like it would definitely be great to make him a real character.

My "question" is I wonder if you have used any other pose base for this punch attack ? (Akuma perhaps ? even if it's different or Dudley?)

Thanks you for the help, that post will help me with his Idle animation, wich funny enough its the hardest thing to me to make.

I changed his walking animation to make it looks more similar to his actual walking animation in Final Fight 3

more than a month ago I wanted to make a Street Fighter One Remake, and one of the characters I wanted to add was Zeku

The idea is on hiatus, except the character of Zeku, so I continued making his sprites while applying what Im learning about spritework

Im using Miyamoto96's Zeku as the overall base and Yajirushi's SNK Zeku as a base for some of his new moves

Kind of a odd character but I wanted to do Stray from Final Fight 3

Good job! I like it!

And for a change, I see no magor anatomic/muscle problem.
Everything looks good!

What about Freddie from Final Fight 2?

I can try, even if its going to look similar to Zangief.

In fact I want to draw more Final Fight characters, as some sort of "Final Fight Revenge 2"
