Cool stages you have released so far. But I personally don't like sendspace (and I think many people also don't like it). I strongly recommend changing to MEGA, Google Drive, OneDrive or Mediafire.

Thanks for letting me know. However, after 5 recent releases, this is the very first time I am aware of any issues, regarding downloads.

So, when you say 'I don't like it', do you actually mean you are not fond of sendspace, or do you have any issues downloading?

Also, anyone had any issues downloading? If so let me know, I can try and find another file sharing site.  :bjugoi:



Yeah, sorry, I should have stated why I don't like it, lol.
As RagingRowen said, it deletes the file after a while, but more important: it has A LOT of ads. I need to close three, sometimes four tabs before I can actually download something from there. lol

Haha, eu descobri isso há pouco tempo também!
O bom do Visual Studio é que ele é bem versátil, você pode inserir blocos de códigos em vários arquivos diferentes de uma vez só, por exemplo. Usei este recurso quando estava fazendo lifebars usando common1.cns. Precisaria colocar algumas coisinhas nos states -2 em todos os chars do jogo, usei o VSC pra isso e deu certinho. Se não fosse o fato do Fighter Factory abrir todos os arquivos do char (sff, air, cns) eu com certeza usaria o VSC pra codificar chars!

Quando eu comecei, ainda no WinMUGEN, só era possível usar .PCX mesmo. A única coisa que lembro sobre isso é o quanto dava trabalho indexar decentemente uma imagem nesse formato. Primeiro, quase nenhum programa abria esse arquivo, só o Fighter Factory e o Photoshop mesmo que eu me lembre (dos que eu usava).
Com o passar do tempo o FF deu suporte à imagens em PNG: é um formato mais universal, muitos programas abrem ele, incluindo os que vem por padrão no Windows. É bem mais fácil indexar e salvar uma imagem PNG 256 cores, tanto pelo Photoshop quanto pelo Fighter Factory.

E depois disso, veio o MUGEN 1.1 com suporte a PNG 24bits, você não precisa nem indexar mais, não tem limite de cores, pode usar transparência à vontade, é simplesmente maravilhoso. Pra criação de stages, lifebars e screenpacks principalmente, é uma mão na roda. Aqueles portraits que ficam serrilhados nas bordas? Coisa do passado, com PNG 24 bits as bordas ficam lisinhas.

Eu falo isso mas eu mesmo não "crio" nada usando esse formato (apenas uso criações de outros autores), por questões de compatibilidade, nem todo mundo usa MUGEN 1.1 e nem todo mundo usa OpenGL. Minhas criações ainda são todas indexadas, porém todas usando PNG. A verdade é que independe de PNG ou PCX, quando inserido no .sff não faz diferença. É mais na parte de trabalhar a imagem antes de inserir mesmo. :v

Nice, your training stages are always very good. Good parallax, good contrast with the blue and red CLSN when they are active, and easy on the eye. Perfect for testing stuff, thanks for sharing!

Looking for the fruits in Blanka's intros, but I need the full fruits, not the leftovers. They have rotation frames in the 8 directions, and there are four of them:
- Banana
- Apple
- Pineapple
- Watermelon
All the spritesets I downloaded until now didn't have them.
Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance!

Glad you did revive the topic. Reminds me around that time Jesuszilla updated his CvS characters with a tool he made that does just such a thing. I wanted to test it for myself before replying but completely forgot. It's on his github. I don't have a link handy, wanted to reply to this quickly before getting side tracked again. It looked promising. I'l report with results and/or anything else I might come up with.

I'm super interested. I've used some of the tools from JZ's github before (namely the AIR turbo speed converter and, of course, the Cheat Engine tables), I could go to his github and grab it myself but I think it's better to wait for your response, along with more informations. ;D

Reviving this to say... I managed to do some things, but not others.
As stated above by T1t@n Ur@nus, I learned that add004pie can be modified, so I thought on giving it a try. Works fine for the most part. I can write the code I need to all my characters in -2 states and the air file. Even in the commands and -1, but these I don't need. The one thing I need and I can't use add004pie for that is... overwrite helper states.

I have the codes for the helpers in my common1.cns and I want to use those instead of the chars own helpers. This replaces mostly effects like hitsparks and superpauses, and also fixes a few things so it can be compatible with the codes in -2.

The method I came with was to place statedef with the same numbers as the helpers, then changestates to the new helpers in common1, everything right above statedef 0.
In mugen, if there are more than one statedef with the same number, mugen will read the first one found and ignore the others, so it works fine. I just can't find a way to "batch" this into all my chars.

Well, I can (using softwares like VS Code), but I want it to be easier for OTHER people to use, since I plan to release it publicly. Add004pie doesn't work for that specific thing.
Any suggestions?

I've tried to learn batch but... I suck. lol

It's always sad to hear (or read in this case) whenever someone steps out of the MUGEN creation scene, specially someone with such a long history and many releases over the years. Of course, I respect the decision, but is still sad. :mokay:
