UPDATE ! It's fixed.

Thansk a lot for the help guys.
The main problem whas whatever I do, only the OTG version hits.

And when I remove otg and fall versions of hitdef, stand version works...
I tried your ideas but the result was not really what I needed.

Finally I used a var for it based on what you suggested (detecting  P2statetype)

this stuff fiwxed the problem.

Code:
[State 1240, 3]; pour adapter le hitdef à la position du P2 :  stand, air, liedown
type = VarSet
triggerall = time = 1
trigger1 = enemynear,StateType=A
;trigger1 = P2StateType=A
v = 2
value = 1

then triggering it for each hitdef.

Some Help with Hitflags.

I'm not sure how to have this result :
I would like a certain move to have different hitdefs (hitpause, velocity, damage...) depending on P2 pose.

The settings I used doesn't seems to work anymore.

I used

hitflag =  D for OTG move

hitflag = AF for air opponent or falling one (juggle etc)

hitflag = M for standing states

All these hitdefs use the same frame of animation and the same conditions.

What should I do ?

What a great progress!
Your skills really improved since we first exchanged in your early debuts here ;)

I like the kicks.

This HK is a very nice choice.
But I think it can be updated a bit :
-It lacks a bit of "force" during the actual stretched leg-kicking pose.
-Also the last frames have this strange feeling of "only the leg is moving". I precise I didn't checked yet the sprites one by one.

Great progress!
I'm glad to see there will ba spriteset more matching with CVS POTS style.
Because the one based on KOF XII-XIII had very different way to animate and too different ptoportions.

This version based on "classic" kof games is way better.
You did a great job here.
Perhaps just the face/heair need a bit of edititng. But not much.

Very interesting to see such characters in this style.
Even if they only capture perhaps 10% or 15% of Kinu Nishimura's style.

I'm very curious about his and have no real idea about it.
Is it free, does it need to be intalled, how to train the AI???
Also how to add trained AI to it if you can share yours. etc.

Sure it would be a good base to paint over on photoshop and create many custom portraits for POTS characters.

EDIT : sorry I already posted some of these questions before.
Just had no chance to test it.
-Also, after checking older works again, seems like the AI was more CVS accurate in the previous tries.
These 2 VG artworks lost something from Kinu and added something very not Kinu-like.
But some of the older AI artworks are are very close to Kinu's style.

This Cammy is incredible, I just have doubts regarding the color of the boot, which for me would be black or green with the red sock, in my opinion this color of boot reminds me of the Killerbee Outfit from SFA, if you changed it to black or green with the red sock, Wouldn't it look cooler?

Sure she would look way better with actual ranger black boots and red socks. Accurate to Delta Red move.
We asked several times, but it seems like it's not a priority.

But he will certainly reply by himself. :)

I wonder why with all these years there is no Delta Red Cammy in this style.
Just a great complete Cammy. Without tons of extra animations where she just blink or move one finger.
But animation and spriting in general can be very long.

I think he can make good work. Or commission someone with spriting skills to finish the work.

The shading on this Adon looks really nice but I feel like his proportions and face seem a little off, fantastic work though, love the MVC2 styled Beast a lot!

I FREAKING LOVE the idea!
What a fresh project.

Many great aspects... I live the custom elements and artworks used here.
Looks very well polished.
Some aspects to upgrade from my point of view.

-I'm not sure about the purple orange color of Backgound logo scroll etc during the title screen.
-Same for the equivalent during select character screen.
-all the portraits from SVC used during the intro would look better if the palette was edited to match all the other sprites (from SFA series)

Everything else looks so good!!!
Hope you will keep it up with fixes and updates!
One of my fav game project for a looooong time!
