Made a Discord for easy access to model kit reference images. I've uploaded all my Five Star Stories pics in my hard drive, and will upload Gundam pics next. Feel free to hang out and use the server for your own leisure!

Spoiler: RESURRECTION (click to see content)

So, like, anyone else here in the forum working on their GBWC entry? Or at least any model kit? lol

Currently working on mine; it's a Bandai RE/100 Jagd Doga, but I've customized it to be more reminiscent of Mamoru Nagano's mechanical aesthetics. He's the guy that made Five Star Stories, co-designed Heavy Metal L-Gaim, and also designed a few Gundam suits, though most of them went uncredited.

Just wanted to share.

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

Was able to make my own personal-use, coin-operated arcade machine in under 50 USD using two zero-delay PCBs I had lying around. Tested from Tekken 1, all up to Tag 2, and was able to simulate the "arcade feel" of dropping coins/tokens also, as long as arcade mode is selected, as pressing the START button will make the NEW CHALLENGER function activate.

(I'm now in the process of buying a Chinese Vewlix control panel from Alibaba, to really make it feel like the arcade (though I am aware official Tekken machines these days use the Namco Noir control panels, but mind you, it's pretty abundant in my country to see clones of Tekken Tag 2 sporting Chulix arcade machines as their platform.)

I'm now here, asking for assistance, since it seems that Tekken 7's console port has removed the NEW CHALLENGER feature in arcade mode, thus limiting my options to replicate the token function commonly seen in arcades. Has anyone figured out how to bring back that feature in T7's PC port? Or is it actually still in the game, and I'm just missing something?

Any input would be appreciated!

no one asking you to buy his DLC you can just stick to the original roster and leave it at that just buy Geese and quit bitching if you don't like Harada chose then take it up with him on twitter and not here your really not getting your point across an by the way he can care less about your hate that's who is and like it or not its his game not yours he made it.
I'm sorry. Are you lost? Who are you even talking to?

I had been inactive for quite a while now, and decided to catch up with my Mugen friends, to see how things were going for them. Tamez was one of my mentors with stage making, and was also one of the people I wanted to see just because of how cool of a guy he was. The news of his passing greatly saddens me, and I pray for both his family and him. We're here for you, G.

You will greatly be missed, Tamez. I'm sorry if I wasn't able to thank you enough for both your assistance with my hobby, and for being an all-around great guy to be with. Rest in peace.

Any new scratch-built/original Mugen stages that I should take note of?

Dark Souls III: The Ringed City DLC

Contradictory to what most people experienced, the DLC was an easy cruise both on NG Dex Build, and NG+7 Strength Build.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but every boss fight in the DLC felt like a 2.0 of old bosses. Demon Prince from O&S, Spears of the Church from Old Monk, Midir from DS2 Ancient Dragon + Kalameet, and Gael from pretty much all speedy knight characters, like Artorias (or like Martyr Logarius from BB).

I'm not saying it was a bad thing, since this feeling was perhaps because of me being so acquainted with everything FromSoftware had thrown at the fanbase all throughout the years, but I was expecting a bit more from them.

I've only had to research about Lapp's quest, and where I'd meet him, since I completely went throughout the DLC without knowing of his whereabouts near Dreg Heap. I'm completely against Googling for answers, but boy, was that an amazing thing, I did. THAT QUEST WAS SO BITTER SWEET. A FINE DARK SOUL INDEED.

I'd give the DLC a 9/10, and the AoA DLC, an 8.5/10.

Sister Friede was harder than any of the Ringed City bosses.

Holy shit, that thing's so old, even I forgot about its existence.

In fact, even my best, most recent creations, I've already forgotten about.

Thanks for giving my resources a shot. I really appreciate it, and I hope that your plans with them comes to fruition. Good luck!

Hey, G. Just wanna share some feedback. Here in the crossed areas, I feel that it would be better if you were to make those regions darker. I know that you're doing a "remix" of SFIII stages, but I feel that it still looks too much like Gill's stage. Not that it's bad, or anything, but just a suggestion.

You could also probably make it a bit "deeper blue", the stage's color tint. Then match it with some red glints in the distance? I feel that it would look cool.

Oh, and make it rain heavily, though it might make it look generic? I doubt.

I know it's your style, and all, but I feel that the glare's intensity is too overkill to the point that it's kinda eye straining to see. However, I do like the distance blur you've applied to the background.

I hope that you'll apply parallax to these stages. In my opinion, it'll look great on them!

If I may ask, did you apply parallax to the floor sprites? Just wondering.
