In response to an old quote - IMO nothing has changed then. People have wanted to be POTs since like 2007. Nothing wrong with that though. His characters were solid.

I think the person he left his original eyes to was nagato since madara did manage to awaken the rinnegan and i guess his plan was to give his rinnegan/sharingan eyes to nagato who would then use them to resurrect madara at some point in time.

didnt tobi at some point state that he gave the rinnegan to nagato? also the fact that madara assumed that nagato was responsible for his ressurection suggests he (and tobi?) had something planned concerning nagato? theres still alot of background shit to unfold.

i would think that the thought of it being tobi is now abolished as madara already confirmed he fought with the first hokage to steal his "dna" or so to be able to use that forbidden eye technique
