I think this probably makes better use of the space but I see what you mean about your eyes needing to dart around more.

Sorry for the late response, but hell yeah, I'd love to see how it turns out. AVPBoy is doing some stuff for other stages as well so I'll have to see how the art-styles mesh but I'm looking forward to it.

So I decided to also add a feature called Ego Drive. It's basically me implementing the taunt buff system from SF3:TS. Here's the buffs so far:

Bryce - His taunt involves him doing pushups, so every uninterrupted pushup will add to his Offense Meter, so basically a power charge

Vidael - Increases the damage of her next Crescent Moon Slash special (her Flash Kick) by 15% and pops the opponent up higher for a juggle if she hits it as an anti-air

Quavon - Increases the amount of time he can hold the opponent during his next Quavon Clutch by an extra full second

Saito - Increases the damage of his next Burning Lariat by 15%

Tristan - Increases the damage of his next Tristan Fist by 10% and makes it cause wall-bounce

Illian - Increases the amount of time his next Omnisphere remains active before dissipating

These aren't set in stone yet so ideas and suggestions are welcome.

All of his special moves are closely associated with Japanese wrestlers.

Burning Hammer and Burning Lariat - signature moves of Kenta Kobashi
Koppu Kick - Jyushin Thunder Liger
When the counters connect he lands a Michinoku Driver, invented by Taka Michinoku

His standard throws are a brainbuster (another very popular move in Japan, and a signature of Kenta Kobashi and many others), and a sit-out powerbomb, which I would compare to the Liger Bomb, but is also just a common popular move.

His attire and color schemes are heavily inspired by Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi.

Not sure why you think nothing, absolutely nothing is even close to a Japanese wrestler. Every palette, design choice, special move and super move is literally inspired by Japanese wrestling. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hell yeah man, I was hoping someone would notice this! I really just need country/location themed stages for each participant's country. I also had the idea that each stage's floor/main standing area would be a ring or platform, since the whole thing is supposed to be an actual televised tournament. I also wouldn't be averse to just using some stages you've already made. Do you have a site with all your stuff on it that I could browse or are they just in the release topics here? The stage I used for SHADEs 3 I found looking through stage collections on other sites. Also, the screenpack is all on Mugen 1.1 so the stages will have to be compatible with that (they don't need zoom or anything but if one has it they all need to have it).

Sasuke is overall slower than Quavon and has shorter combos, but in exchange he does better damage in most areas. Also, all of his jumping specials have active hit boxes for much longer, most lasting the rest of his jump (ala Haggar in MvC3).

I just want to point out that on P1’s side of the character select screen says “Japan: Country”, “37: Age” etc, whereas it reads the correct way around on P2’s side. Is that something that’s going to be fixed later on? Because it’s really distracting me :P.

That will all be part of the character portraits so I can fix it pretty easily, Mordecool is providing me with a portrait template for when the final art is completed.
