I'm sad for Botan, it could have been a great opportunity to have a NEW character with actual good design...


But after watching this Shermie trailer, I'm freaking so hyped.
The design is freaking perfect. Inever imagined they could make something better than the classic one.
SNK Heroines model looks from old generation now. :)

Her gameplay looks awesome. Her NeoMax/super is a bit strange, but overall, it's just freaking awesome.
Her Shermie Shoot from 97/98 is back. Does it means she don't have Diamond Bust ?

Damn! I need this game now. It will be a torture to wait until it's playable! ^^;

My only whish now is that they polish her even more and give her a very complete move list, with nothing lost, and some extra moves.


Question to you guys(and girls), until now, do we have the proof that there is DM/SDM , not only NeoMax-like unique super move?
I think this is some details I sometime not focus on. (they looks like EX moves or something)

EDIT:
And yes, after re watching, they could have put more weight into some animations.
But still it looks better than some previously seen characters.

Also, after checking her actual portrait, we can see they really played with us with the silhouette picture, bacause the hand is looking different.
They edited it to make us thinking it's actually an animal... or Botan's furr -_-

Either it's Botan or Shermie.
One detail make me wonderting a lot.
What can be this sleeve/hair like shape in front of her...

This time, I think It will be hard to go to sleep and not tay awake until 3AM (in my area)

OK, It's Shermie... Almost sure now.
There is no fox or furr aroudthis character...
I only hope they didn't f*ck up Shermie's design...

But, why she would be in the game ? Anyway, it would be a great news having a character like her.
A bit the kind like I-No in GG series... :D

I only hope it's not a redesign of Shermie (again) inspired by this Botan furr stuff...

I think there are 1 or 2 characters from this precise game but with blurry rips.

the questions would be.

-is there a way to get rid of the blurry effect in this TaitoX emulation?
-Are there actual "real" emulators that can launch these Tx games?

It would make ripping real pixels possible.

Never thought about it actually.
Probably if the system is too different from the rest of the roster I'll consider converting it or straight out taking it out altogether.

Another minor reason is because it doesn't look aesthetically fitting with the theme of the game. Shades/sprites etc.

Basically the same for me!

I intitially used mugen to make crazy crossovers.
Now, I have a "need" of playing something that looks like a "real" game
-same type of sprites
-similar gameplay

BUT, you can be pretty limited when having these "rules", beside of these 2 bases I use
-KOF (for my SNK type need)
-POTS/CVS (for my Capcom-ish need)

-Back in 2000-2001 I felt it was open door to infinite match ups.

-Now, Freedom. Everything that companies consider not "mainstream enough" or not "easy money maker" (...) you STILL CAN do it with Mugen.
And to me, this is what is so good about it.

Yes, I would suggest the same links.

+ some very outdated of my own ^^

Also, the most important elements to me is having some references in the style you want to reach.
Or something close to a style you want to create.

So you can see how to manage size etc, and draw details like faces, fingers etc.

I freaking love this idea of getting rid of black outlines via CS and palette.
The result looks so refreshing!

Keep it up with this project.

So, we can say bye bye forever to the previous Sakura model...? T_T

What I regret is :

-the "round haircut..". (SFV style). SFIV style is good in many points (animations etc) but SFIV haircut always give me the feeling of a mullet like hair.
-the ratio display. New version is definitely a bit too wide. (to my point of view).

Hello,

I'm coding a throw right now, and in the process of binding, I need to use P2 head position (from commons) as a pos add for P1.

[State 1, 1]
type = posadd
trigger1 = animelem = 1
y = #p2 head position#*const(size.yscale);;;;;;;This is just an exemple

I don't know the structure to reach these informations.

-p2 y head position
-p2 constant y scale

Any idea if something like that is possible.
Or an alternative, different from just using "pos= 0,0,head"

The rendering is clean, very good.
But sorry to say that, I think you lost yourself again into variations of Sakura concept.

I mean.
Her new sprite looks great, but I prefered the previous display ratio, now it's too much "squashed". even for SF3 display ratio.
This is my point of view.

Your SFIV mod looked very good. Actually the type of mod I like.
Not too nude, not b*tchy. just a mix up of cuteness and beauty.

BUT, I don't think SF3 Sakura need this shorter skirt.
this very lose/low skirt-belt is really too much... But you are the one to decide.

It makes me a bit disapointed inside, because you reached the best rendering+design of Sakura then you change everything to maker her more "sexy"...
Also, giving her tons of underwear designs just make the palette and display very strange... but again, you decide.


Also, the animation you got on twitter.

Do you remember his account. he have really nice animation skills.

Anyway, good luck.
I'll keep an eye on it, if you ever come back to something less b*tchy for Sakura.

Mai looks the same as her 14 counterpart so nothing to say much here.

I wish we get to see more new faces like Chizuru or Yashiro...

Yes, I have the same feeling.
Overall she look better than in her first apearance in early trailers.
But doesn't seems to have so many improvements in her move set.
Also her super move is a bit... average (to me)

Yes, I want to see more new comers now!
I want to see Shermie, but also, I feel like, the later they make her, the best she can be...

I hope they improved her appearance compared to first appearances...
Also, hope she's not just a copy paste of KOFXIV move list. (even if it's already good)
