Yes. It is based off Smash Bros (and now Nickelodeon All Stars, but this was in the works before Nickelodeon was even announced).

It’s a Tag Team game. Not sure if that means you pick two characters and switch between them. Or if each “character” is actually a pair, or if each character is an individual and you only switch when you lose a stock. All I know is there’s synergy between certain characters which implies custom teams.

I know some more but I’m holding off on sharing until after the game’s revealed.

I was told that the origin of this game was actually due to the memes based around Shaggy getting into Mortal Kombat in his “Ultra Instinct” form. Obviously NR wasn’t going to put him in a game like Mortal Kombat, so ideas were tossed around and Warner Bros. loved the idea of combining their properties and establishing more Warner crossovers. As you obviously saw in Space Jam 2.

This isn’t the only one in active development and those at NR/Warner have known this for awhile now. It’s an open secret in the industry that fter the success of Smash Ultimate, combined with Nintendo’s complete tone-deafness towards their audience and playerbase, a lot of Western Studios have begun to capitalize on the opportunity to make their own platform fighter that doesn’t treat their playerbase and competitive players like shit. The numbers competitive smash, especially Melee, pulls is not lost on the Western studios and the opportunity to take a slice of that pie is extremely apparent.

Netherrealm isn’t the last. I know of at least 2 others with major IP that are developing others, all based off Melee’s speed and depth. Netherrealm i just have the most info on because, well, I won’t say anymore so I don’t get fired. But there’s at least one other that, as a studio, is significantly bigger than us and you already know a little about it. All I’ll say on that because I don’t have much info.

First, Sakurai mentioned he wasn’t sure whether he’d be able to work on the Super Smash Bros. series forever, but if the order comes from Nintendo, he will prioritize it for them, but he isn’t sure whether he’d receive the call to make another game.

However, Sakurai takes a surprising shift and says that it's because of this that "you have to fight and survive" in game development, and as a result he doesn't think he "can choose when [he'll] retire." Sakurai explains that thinks he should work as long as he can. Eventually, it's possible that his "heart gets broken" and he could quit, but so long as there's demand for his art he "can keep doing it forever." Suffice to say, Sakurai has a very profound approach to game development and his future.

Yea, I'm not going to pretend I know what's left either. Ninty does pretty much have their all star lineup already in.

But they also have a vast library of IPs. They can pull something out there if they really want to and it wouldn't be the first time they've done so. Who remembered the Ice Climbers before Melee or Pit before Brawl?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Every single "leak" is wrong and is someone trying to get their 15 minutes. When was the last time a so called leak ended up being accurate? I don't think any of them even listed Kazuya as a character.

Whatever guidelines Ninty uses to choose potential candidates for Smash probably have Sora qualify for it, but he's such a HUGE shot in the dark that not only are you firing blind, you don't even have any idea where the target even is. Sora has the nasty caveat of having to go through 2 companies that are pretty tough to work with. I feel like Sora isn't really worth going through the hassle when you can still get other star characters with less of a headache. Heck, Ninty themselves probably still have a few characters of their own they could use.

Honestly the number one thing I want the most is a Steam release. Maybe a Switch release if lucky but I’m not putting my eggs in that basket. If this does end up happening I would like a Steam release since I don’t own a PS or XBox of any sort.

Now let's hope it'll be better than the Steam Machine console (Yeah, remember that? If not, that's ok...I forgot about it as well)

Hey guys! so i decided not to hold it until weekend, i think everything that i could do at this moment is done and i see no point in holding out the character (i mean there will be probably some bugs found or something else, but its just best way find them anyway). I hope i didnt forget anything
