Those sprites are so inconsistent oh my god.
That critic Taybear post to answer first (without feedback) this releases's characters. He could and should post that in Mugenmultiverse.

I see bunch of critic like that in Mugenguild about others found releases...So you guys make me feel sick about mugen...

It seems those screenshots are outdated, I don't see any of those sprite errors appearing for me rn.

- Slash Fest takes a really low amount of damage compared to his other specials

-Collision Boxes are pretty bad

- I know he's big, but jeez, he could take a little reduction in size. IMO

- Gamma cannon causes the enemy to stay green a little longer after the attack is over, until they're hit, idk if that's intentional or not but it happens.

That's really all i can find in like 5 min of playing with him

Those sprites are so inconsistent oh my god.

Eh man wtf...you have an account in MugenMultiverse and you are an active members there, isn't ?

So why don't you go and said all you want to say directly and straight to Arkady instead to come at Mugenguild ?

Mugenguild is very pro to talk behind back people.

for example if your character has "abc" as displayname mugen will display their name as "theamazingspidermanblackcatincrediblehulk"

Because of this, the number of the logo, for characters,  are very limited... --;

But it's possible to create some good combinaison like this  :)

Thanks I finally made it :


black cat can only be called "A" (note capitals) to display her logo properly
spiderman can only be called "B"
hulk as well can only be called "C"
I want to ask you one thing to be sure...the name.font cannot recognize a complete "word" but only "A,B,C or 1,2,3..." is that right ?

With FontEditor, I open a custom font and I have this (click on picture for zoom):


I don't understand what are all these numbers mean ?  What is the Map and the letters A,B,C...goes for ?

How in Fight.def I can edit the name of the lifebars and add specific logo for each characters like this ?  :help:


Do i have to use Fighter factory and Fondeditor ? What value and number I have to change for ?
I don't even understand how works all the name's system in lifebars...

The background color needs to be on color slot 0
(In GIMP go to rearrange color map and drag the color for the background all the way to the top of the map)

How i can rearrange color map ? I don't understand at all GIMP because like I said I usually make sprites with PAINT MS.

I will explain how I proceed...so I do this:

- First with Paint, I made sprite with pink background and save in PNG format.

- Then with GIMP, I open the sprite and I don't have acess to color map.

-So, with Irfanview, I convert the sprite PNG to PCX (256 colors and 8 bits, indexed )

- Again with GIMP, I open the PCX sprite and I finally have acess to color map.

-The background color pink are in slot number 12 and I can't drag in to slot 0 !

So please where I am doing wrong here ?   :help:

Hi,
So I want to test some sprite chars I made but I have this problem.


I made sprite by using Paint MS and convert to PCX by using Irfanview.

Please how I can delete or make transparent the pink background in FighterFactory Classic ?

You have to put that scaling parameter in def. Not only in "powerbar", but in "turns", etc...


I put some value and that's works.
