Hi, it's been a while since I've done much with mugen and its exciting to see the progress that been happening with this engine. I noticed that a Story Mode is in the works and I was curious on the progress of that function. I am still kind of figuring out the ins and outs of the engine so far and I would love to help make this function a reality.

I have a question Im hoping can be answered here.  I want to do some coding in a MvC format.  I understand what I need and how the system works, except for flight mode.  What is the functionality of it? And is it worth adding? Im assuming from videos I have watched that it is used to extend air combos? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just dont want to add Flight Mode for the sake of it.

I am having the same problem in my screenpack I am making.  In 1.1 they added a feature so you can see the cursor move, however this causes problems for creators who use the cursor differently like both of us.  Is there a setting or something to turn this feature off so you dont see the animation?

Right now the background subtly changes from blue to a purplish pink and back.  What I want to do is have sparks moving too, Im just having trouble finding the animations.

Way much better and it goes great with the select screen.

Right now I am working on the P1 and 2 selectors.  For the custom portraits, when you add the character select icon you will have to put in some funky x and y coords, but it will be worth it lol

Hi, I've been working on a screen pack for MUGEN 1.1.  This is what I have so far....



Select Screen:

Im pretty happy with this so far.  I have yet to make icon for the character select, and I know it will take a little more work because of the way the tiles are laid out.  I plan on making alt version for smaller rosters and also for those who do not want to use custom portraits.


VS Screen:

I am not completely happy with this, and it might completely change.

VS Screen V2:

This is the one I will be going with.  The grids on the sides move down and the VS has an animation where the V and the S collides.

Please! Tell me what you think or any advice you can give.  I love ideas!

I've been working on a screenpack for MUGEN 1.1 taking advantage of not having color loss. Its themed after DC vs Marvel. So far I have made the most progress on the select screen. I designed it as homage to the original Scruffy Dragon Screenpack.


I have yet to add font for the characters names. The screenshot does not do the select screen justice as the whole background is animated. Once I have finished more of the screen pack I will upload a video so you can see.

This screenpack is very heavy. Because of the image sizes and the transparencies, you will need a graphics card to run it. Please, if you have any ideas or want to help out, feel free to comment. As far as help, right now I need a HD logo for the game. If anyone is interested on helping me with this, you have full creative freedom.
