Nice idea!
But the presence of many iconic/main characters reduce the possibilities of possible matches unless you don't mind fighting as Kuririn in a landscape with Kuririn, lol.

Interesting concept. I think the playable characters should be bigger though on the stages like the ones shown in that video

yes, my programming level is not high enough to know how to put the playable chars adapted to a larger stage (with zoom + or -) the stage only enlarges or reduces the zoom of the stage, but not of the chars. Yes Does anyone have an idea I would appreciate it if you could put it or pass it here fixed,(I think it's only in the namek stage)

Hey again. I have some progress to share and some news about this project.

On the CS, I'm done with the claws, nose, eyes, gums, and nunchucks. I've made some good progress after 5 months and after I finish the teeth I will work on the actual body parts (which is gonna take forever). On the overall project, I've decided after I finish the CS I will import the sprites to Jesuszilla's version so it could be seen in action. I am still making a separate, personal sff, but at the end of the project I will create the public Jesuszilla sff. Another change I've made is to change the default palette to Koldskool's palette. I did this for mostly consistency reasons as my original palette both didn't feel CvS enough and source accurate.

Thanks for reading again. Hopefully I'm not posting too many progress updates or anything. I just want to say that this project isn't dead.

I also have some new anims to post  :pleased:
 


And I made a new palette. guess what this one is a reference to  ;D

I remember the old version had some effects that seemed off, I don't know if that was just due to some layering of the multihitting supers, I'll have to give him a look, always happy to see more fixes

Riesz is also a 1080P character, and the sprite is
MAAB (Million Arthur Arcand Blood).

The LocalCoord used by the above two characters is 1920,1080.
9000,0 and 9000,1 portraits of characters can use
the resolution corresponding to 1080P.
This is the "Real" 1080P character.


You can open the DEF file of the character and watch the
LocalCoord parameter used by the character
to know the resolution of the character.

The following value represents LocalCoord...
localcoord = 320,240 (240P, this is the Default)
localcoord = 640,480 (480P)
localcoord = 1280,720 (720P HD)
localcoord = 1920,1080 (1080P Full HD)

By the way, wanted to ask real quick: does this have all the special win quotes the characters have in Story/VS?

Frankly, not sure. I'm sure intro cutscene lines like Rock vs Geese and round winpose lines like Iori's laugh are in. I extracted the specific character voice battle container so it's probable that missing win quotes will be mixed together in a single mess somewhere else. I'll check that when i have some time.

Some Darkstalkers stuff done for fun.

Top row has official sprites for comparison (with Lilith's pose slightly edited to differ from Morrigan). Everything else was made from scratch.

Although I am wondering one thing: When Marx loses all his health and he reverts back into his normal form,
is there a set time limit you have to hit him by before he does a final attack or turns back into his boss form?

Or is the fight basically over when he loses all his health?
