Alternatively they could have also created new original characters loosely based on their likenesses, as they did so many times before, like with Raiden being based on Vader.

If MBS still has ownership by the time the next game comes out, there's probably a chance he sticks around.

The third of the five Super Mugen Bros. characters has been re-edited, and here it is!

Also known as "SMBZ" Sonic (despite having nothing to do with SMBZ), he is a character that uses 3 buttons for normals and 3 more buttons for specials. Weapon mode is still present, and more stuff was added, such as new moves, new palettes, and more!

After 2 months, green' stache has been updated to v1.1!
Changelog:

- Added a "Danger!" message. This appears if Luigi's HP is reaches 300 to alert the player that he'll be K.O.'d if they don't K.O. the opponent first.
- Slight A.I. adjustments.
- Fixed an oversight where EX Thunderhand used the same helper as non-EX version.

Oh, right! I understand now.
Again Lucia can be done from NinjaBR version.
The spriting style is kind of similar to SF2. It matches pretty well. Then you can add all the mising animations.
And obviously reduce the giant breasts she have... ^^;

So I've been working on a character that has hundreds of random images in its files, but because it's been well over a year since I've had to add anything new to it and I've completely forgotten my method of doing it. What I used to do was go into photoshop and index the images then add the pink background to act as the transparent color, but whenever I try to add the pink to the image I just indexed, it changes the pink to the first color in the color palette and I don't remember how to edit the palette to make the pink go first. I've been stuck on this for hours now and no tutorial is helping me with my problem so I'm at a loss for what to do

To the left in this image is one of the older pictures I used for the character that I was able to complete the process with. To the right is what happens when I do that exact same process but tried to add the pink, only for the color to change


I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and nothing I find online is helping me so I genuinely need help on this..

I'll be posting Rufus next!  At least showing his basic attacks and I think the jiggle physics still show through pretty well in a reduced frame/pixel format. The specials will still take a bit of tinkering.

As for the females, I've got Chun, Cammy, Juri, and Viper done.  Laura and Mai (drawn) are planned for sure. I am definitely going to draw Luca.

Blair, Nina, and (eventually) Marissa are planned.

I don't know who this DJ is. If you wanna get a guest fighter in there, use somebody from a fighting game - Street Fighter (we already have Ken and Chun-Li), Tekken, Virtua Fighter... Much better choices then some DJ.
If you wanna create some dancing DJ character, then create some new one. That DJ fighting style will be only in this game, then it is gone. All the work for the moves, the animations, all of it gone in the next game.

Nah, I absolutely understand where they are coming from.  Almost 30 years of waiting just for the iconic and beloved Fatal Fury IP to be reduced to nothing more than a vanity venue for one nauseatingly rich dickhead is foul.  If it was just CR7 it would still kind of suck, but whatever, he is one of the most famous people alive, especially to the Latin American audience that makes up a lot of SNK's own fandom.  But now we're at the point where anyone with the loosest of ties to Prince MBS are getting full development resources and time towards becoming a full fledged character in what's supposed to be the grand finale of their flagship franchise 25 years in the making. 

Yeah and the fact the guests are announced like a week apart from each other is clearly a PR nightmare which is definitely not desired under a month before release.
Both guests were most likely the prince's obligation, as with some of the other bizarre marketing stunts like the Ring sponsorship.

While we're here, it's worth noting there's three character trailers coming soon on the site.

It's likely these may just include the DLC chars doe.

Thanks, I just wanted to include colors that the original cast had (either in original artwork or shown in later games) but couldn't due to palette limitations at the time. You may have noticed Guile's boots, Zangief's hair, and Balrog's hair/skintone in my little videos. I think all the WW characters and bosses got an extra color or two, maybe save for Ken haha.

I hope for more female characters. there are som many interesting girls in SF series.
Also, I would not mind seeing Lili from Tekken in this game. SFXT can provide a good base for inspiration.
