This is for coders. How long did it take you to learn the basics of mugen character coding before going to the advanced coding?

How long did it also take to learn the advanced coding?

The Docs and a LOT of help from my mentors Crazy Koopa, Evil Homer and Kamekaze.  And I am far from done learning.

MUGEN has been dead to me ever since I had to upgrade to Windows XP in 2005 and couldn't play DOS-MUGEN anymore. Not that I ever took the time to learn how to code.

depending on when that was asked it would have been macross (80s ), gits (90s) then when they cry (2ks), currently it is madoka by far.

Can't really say, I work on and off. If you add the time that I actually work subtract the time where I loaf around, it was probably a few weeks or so. I don't think that my code is that advanced. I feel like I always learn as I work on something new.
