Fear Itself, even though it was not that good. Just seemed like a waste of good potential, just like the recently finished Original Sin. Flashpoint is sorta interesting as a concept but not super compelling (outside of Thomas Wayne as Batman) and it also led to the New 52 so fuck Flashpoint, it's all your goddamn fault Barry, you did all of this, you ruined everything >:[

Semi-serious question, I haven't really watched a full Gundam series since Toonami was a thing (Adult Swim's Toonami's not the same).  Catch G Gundam occasionally online, but wanted to go over Gundam Wing again.  Apparently since its airing it went from best Gundam to worst anime ever online.  Is it still worth watching again or best to just leave that one to memory?

you know what, I know he's super overexposed and we're all a little sick of him, but Benedict Cumberbatch, he could pull the role off very well, I think. - Brak's Dad, definitely. Space Ghost can't handle Brak on a good day, but Brak's Dad is always the boss and always has just the right story or metaphor to cheer up Brak/teach him important life lessons about the furry slippers of a boy, and so on and so on

- hell no, that guy is a sociopath, no joke. He doesn't care about anything or anyone, just fighting, and all the people he winds up saving really only got saved by luck. If it would be anyone from DBZ, it should be Gohan, that guy actually has empathy for others, can form meaningful attachments with other people, romantic and otherwise, tries to make a real difference in the world, even if he has to disguise his identity to do so, and thinks about things that aren't fighting most of the time.
- a soul, that's about it. I never knew so much of the population had no souls, but hey, this was pretty definitive proof.
- it's probably worth watching again; I dunno, the backlash against it was always there, but it's still weathered the storm, and most people have moved onto greener/shittier pastures, what with SEED and AGE out there. It's no classic but it's perfectly cromulent, I guess. And that music...

Pretty young, I suppose, but it was fairly casual. I had a subscription to Amazing Spider-Man for a number of years, when I was still fairly young; my first issue was like, literally the issue that came right after the end of the Clone Saga (really dodged a bullet there, and the stuff that came after was pretty decent, well-executed Spider-Man); unfortunately, I continued onto John Byrne and Howard Mackie's infamous and short-lived reboot of the Spidey titles (I had no fucking idea what was happening, though, I was too young and all the origin changes and what not were detailed in another book so all I knew was that Aunt May was suddenly alive again [she was dead???] and now Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus got their powers in the same accident or something and why is everyone living in a penthouse and did Mary Jane just die in a plane explosion what the fuck) and my subscription ended almost right before Mackie and Byrne left and JMS was brought in for a pretty well acclaimed run that almost immediately trashed the incredibly shitty changes Byrne and Mackie made, so, kind of a reverse of the situation of when I started reading ASM.

Then I guess I fell off for a few years, not really reading anything besides manga, but was eventually lured back, but in an in-depth way, as a young teenager. And I think what lured me back was a trade paperback at the library; the very complex and inside-baseball alternate reality Marvel story (and also a sequel to another series) called Universe X, which, looking back, was probably the worst fucking comic one could use to be introduced to comics in general (not a judgement on its quality, I thought it was pretty good!). But somehow I persevered, went on long wiki runs, and started actually reading shit. And here I am, posting pictures of Superman with a mouth full of cigars, like a real fucking adult.
