The only thing you really need to be aware of is that I haven't totally finished Psycho Reflector, and by that I mean "I have not devised a way to make it reflect projectiles because MUGEN is stupid, so instead it shoots out a Psycho Ball when it blocks a regular projectile". Otherwise the move is perfectly functional, and will be finished in an update further down the road.

Leona and King have also been updated with slightly smarter AIs and other fixes.

Bugs for either of those three can be posted here and will be fixed at my earliest convenience. If you found a bug in someone else, PM it to me.

I do have a next project in mind but it's dependent on some things. Watch the WIP thread for more news, maybe.

Major complaints:

* She can juggle multiple Renkantais on the opponent:

Minor complaints:

* Psychic Teleport could have a width sctrl with the edge parameter. After Psychic Throwing a cornered opponent she can use Psychic Teleport. If it's performed with a correct timing she will switch sides with opponent.

* She can't juggle with standing/crouching attacks after Psychic Throw. Weak Psycho Sword also doesn't work.

* If she holds during her hop (state 100) she doesn't use running jump when she lands. By using

trigger1 = command = "up" || command = "upfwd" || command = "upback" || command = "holdup" || command = "holdupfwd" || command = "holdupback"

in the state 102, it makes the running jump more comfortable to pull off.



Aside these problems I liked what I saw. Everything seems really solid overall.

Actually the timing this different than usual. She must press the next attack right before the current one connects.

Other minor things.

Hitbox for Jumping HP is active only for 2 frames

Phoenix Arrow and Phoenix Fang Arrow can be performed during backdash but Shining Crystal Bit can't.

And why Phoenix Bomb can't be performed during the neutral or backwards jump?

-It isn't active for very long in CvS2 either. If you're going to jump in with it you have to do it deep. I'll give maybe one or two more extra frames but that's about it.
-Not intentional, you shouldn't have ctrl during backdash at all. Will investigate.
-Because you can't do it from neutral or backward jump in CvS2 is why.

Leona stuff
  • I can't perform her air throw at all. I see the hitbox connect with an enemy but nothing happens. :S
  • Earring Bomb seems buggy; after performing it I can't perform it again nor can I perform Baltic Launcher; I can however perform I-Slasher and that seems to reset the projectile variable and allows me to perform both moves again.
  • Isn't Strike Arch able to be done with B+LK too in KOF?
  • Both versions of Gravity Storm whiff the aerial hit against many opponents (KFM, your Leona); additionally the animation used when an opponent is launched into the air is a non-standard animation so it'll produce a debug message error on KFM and others (although I got another error message with my Ken once but I can't reproduce it :S)
  • If you jump over an opponent and hold up-forward you will land, then jump back over the opponent (and this will repeat as long as UF is held), instead of the normal behavior of jumping again further away from the opponent

I got that air whiff Gravity Storm thing as well. I tried it on Kelexo's Makaryudo and None's Kaf Ka among others.
There was a sig here. Its gone now (thanks photobucket ya fecks)

I don't think this is unreasonable; the super is much easier to pull off in the source game. It shouldn't be this difficult.

and it was nowhere near as hard as it is here

Honestly, the timing for the supermove definitely neeeds to be less strict. Without mashing buttons, it becomes simply unreliable.

Guys, it's cool. All of my hardass miserable teasing aside, I have no actual problem making the move easier to do. I just need half a second to get to it, but I will do it, promise.

Now as for Leona's stuff.

-Bug in her -2 state. I'm on it.
-That statement is correct. Fixed.
-um, no (not to my knowledge at least).
-The part where the grab misses, that's a velocity issue. Working on that now. As for the anim error, I have no idea what's causing it, I can't reproduce. Gravity Storm only uses one custom animation, and that's for P2 getting ganked in the back (and I've already made sure that the transition happens correctly.
-Investigating the landing state right now.

It's not hard to just launch KOF 99 and try out the command attack by yourself. Strike Arch can be done by holding backwards. This is so Leona can keep her charge motions while doing the move (Same with Blue Mary in several games).

'99...that would be why, I was using '98 as my reference (and I don't have access to 99 so it's a little hard to launch something I DON'T HAVE). I'll add it.

As for the Grav Storm animation bug, it turns out that 5060 is NOT A REQUIRED ANIM WHOOPS so I've fixed that as well.
