Both Balthazar and JMorphMan's works are open source. Simply be sure to credit them. Use just sprites? Credit Balthazar. Use some coding? Credit JMM.

well since he is sprited in Z2 style, i would actually really like it if he is also coded in Z2 style, with all of the crazy chains, arial combos, alpha counters, and flashy supers.


I agree I like doing Z2-combos

Possibly! I'll only need to sprite that 2nd punch to achieve that.
As for his style, well I guess it'll take several aspects, some Z2 and some VS.
Gonna be something new and fresh. Sentai Style?

HHMM I don't know, that's something we'll have to test/discuss once more attacks have been added to the char. Seems kinda out there! I think we're going for something a bit more old school, grounded, basic. Ofc. cool combos should still be a norm.
For that Genesis Chain I think it needs the straight punch to look a bit better. I was going to sprite that anyway ;)

Zemilla has kept his promise and chipped in, from the ones who've said they'd contribute, only you guys are left. I'll be waiting :smug3:

I'm really happy I got that awesome Genesis Revolver roughed/sketched by Diepod. But the move I was actually referring to when I said I planned to combine two classic Super Sentai moves, was this (still a rough animation with infinished frames):

This combines both the flying dropkick and the flying double superman punch!

I think it'll work kinda like Dictator's Head Press, but aiming for p2's face rather then the top of their head. Should be fun!

While I'm fully aware of the flying drop kick and double punch, I didn't imagine using them as anti-air. Figured one of the rangers would git them as a body projectile as opposed to a tatsu.
Spriting is hard.

IT IS NOW TIME FOR THE GREAT AND ALL-POWERFUL JMORPHMAN TO DEMAND AND SOLICIT THE OPINIONS OF THE FORUM AT LARGE


So, this the Rider Kick: it's executed when dashing forward (so you're already covering a bunch of ground before the move starts), and the kick itself covers huuuge range (nearly full screen!). It also has a pretty fast startup; it seems kinda overly powerful for a normal move? Seems like it'd be absurdly easy to throw it out to punish anything the opponent does.

I've been tweaking things here and there to try and keep the move from being too overly powerful but I'm finding it difficult to do that while making the animation and movement look as smooth as that gif. And now I'm just constantly questioning myself about what the right approach to this move should be! Like, maybe there should be a lot more startup (but wouldn't that make the animation look bad?) Or maybe it should have pretty bad hitboxes so it could be easily punished, and have pretty terrible frame disadvantage on block?

so give me some ideas, people!

Small hit box. Make it where they can even crouch under it. IE it will only hit standing and jumping folk

Doesn't give the appearance of something that can hit a croucher, so I'd say go with smaller hitbox.

I agree with the suggestions of small hitbox (can be crouched), and huge disadvantage on block.

Finally got around finishing this wicked Special Move of his:

That double superman punch could use some energy line effects, something like this perhaps:

This Will in into mugen history because os a new kind of character because power rangers was one of The most loved 90s, this Will be a nostalgic character made by a mugen legends creators.
Balthazar or someone knows. When Billy Will be released? He Will released in this year 2016?
