Hi there.

Yesterday was XFields' birthday and who earns the gift is you all :)

I've updated Black Cat, she is almost done now.

Here is whats new:

Tons of bugs fixed (air, cns, cmd)

New FX and sounds
Ground slam fx
Souplet modified
Dashing claws has a follow up
2 new intros (one against Spiderman)
Two modes: old and new. Open the Settings.cns and modify if you want the old version
New move: Pokerface, a hyper done while she on the web.
Heros 4 hire hyper move (lvl 3)

Cool char, interesting moves list. Her maximum cat super while performed during and air combo goes kinda wonky. Her db K special when she goes off screen and then lands/stomps on top of the opponent feels a bit fast, but over all I really like her, you put a lot of effort in.

- Range for the throws seem really long. That's a little cheap IMO, especially the kick one.
- Typo in the readme : Lovely Necklace is done with punch and not with kick.
- I'm having some problems performing forward or backward super jump (no problem with neutral). May be just me...
- Ceiling Blitz has problems with the rope : it should look like the top of the rope is binded to the ceiling, but it's not, and it looks like BC's rope is sliding like crazy on the ceiling. Some sprite editing is needed so the rope angle matches BC's motion I guess.
- Hitsparks during Claws Barrage are cropped.
- If you jump over the opponent and continue jumping in the same direction, Black Cat won't turn automatically towards the opponent.
- If you perform a super while the web is on the screen, some purple lines will appear in fron of the web (while all the Super BG is behind the web), which doesn't look pretty.
- Opponent often gains control (or at least get up) too fast at the end of supers. For example, the opponent recovers during Love Clamp while the super BG is still there and BC still has her foot up from the kick. It's even worst during qcb+2K when the web is already on the screen : the opponent recovers a few ticks only after BC made her final big hit.
- During Love Clamp, I think it would look cool if the last kick made the oppponent fly in the sky while turning in the air (with some fast angledraw/angleadd).
- The fight gets locked during her intro if she does the "spinning hook" intro. If you're controlling her, you just have to press a button, but in other cases, you can just press Esc to go out of the fight ...

Overall, this is a very interesting character, even more than before. I'm still not fond of your damage values for supers, but it's your way of doing, so we might as well get used to it. :P
A lot of work was put into this char, and it really shows. :yes:

1-For me they are ok.
2-Gonna fix this.
3- Its you :)
4- Yeah, I know. I don't like the way it was coded (its not my code). Maybe I will borrow from some Batman out there :)
5- The sparks where cropped at Kong's pack. I will try to fix it.
6- This happens with almost every char I have. Even with KFM. And its quite logical.
7- Gonna fix this.

9- Nice idea.
10- Hum, this doesn't sounds good. I will look at the code, but I can't see what its wrong.

Thanx. Yes, I like high damages, way higher than many other chars. Its my style.

I love Felicia Hardy and this MUGEN char make her justice, awesome work Ilu :sugoi:
About feedback, Cyb already pointed the stuff I discovered (not a lot like him, but coincide in various points). Also, I couldn't make Love Clamp, there's something wrong with the command or something

As I said before, I loved the char and finally Spiderman has a proper couple in fighting (and maybe love/sex ;D) terms in MUGEN. Thanks!!

Everything I found is pretty much what CyFagster has already mentioned.

I do agree on the throw range being a bit much.

I'm able to grab p2 from this range  :o


I like the maximum cat super nice job.

Some of my feedback might overlap with some others'

- DP+P has huge range. (You can reach someone fullscreen away with it)
- QCF+P could use more cooldown.
- QCF+C does up to 170. (I understand this could be because of your damage standard)
- QCF+2K's voice is really loud.
- QCB+2P during Suplex only does 177.
- No launcher?
- D,D+2P lasts a bit long.
- Her web is a super?
- Web has a kind of odd layering, and chars look like they stand on it.

Yeah, I've noticed that there is some conflict with the commands, but the CMD order is right.

1- Not a problem to me, it was intentional.
2- More? that move, when it miss, already render BC (the char, not the creator, LOL) helpless for a moment.
3- I've lowered it a bit. thanx.
4- its the right level for me, but I will lower it a bit.
5- no, the move itself (without the suplex) dows just 99. My bad, I will fix it.
6- HK close
7- Don't think so.
8- Yes
9- I will make it a bit higher.
