A simple module that makes the CvS2 commentator narrate the match. He only comments first attacks and combos. For round number announcement I figure you'd just use a CvS2 lifebar.

Only works in Ikemen GO 0.99 and above.

See the readme for installation instructions.

It's voiced. While this is neat, I would kinda like a to adjust some kind of frequency of how often the narrator speaks. Because I was playing the SOR2 bonus game with a character with a lot of combos and the narrator would just. not. stop. Don't get me wrong it was funny as hell when it happened.

It gives me an error. First I tried a screempack that adapts to the new ikemen go and I get the same thing. Then I tried directly from a clean ikemen (latest version without anything included) and it tells me the same thing, this comes up:

I think I have put everything right. I leave you an image

you forgot to add a comma after the "data/training.zss" line in the CommonStates section

so it is supposed to look like this:

"data/tag.zss",
"data/training.zss",
"data/commentator_cvs2/commentator_cvs2.zss"
]

An idea. Is it possible to make the commentator different depending on the stage? For example, in a fight stage with people in the audience you would hear people shouting happily when they gave good blows, and rejection when bad, in other stages that the Listen to the commentator (if it's from dbz, it's the dbz commentator, and if it's from mortal kombat, it's one from mortal kombat). In short, if it wasn't the same commentator for everyone, being able to add this option would give a lot of variety to the comments. stages and realism. Is it possible?

I'll post an update soon with that option.
I almost added it the first time around but figured that the normal course of a match would be enough to moderate the guy.
Normally he will only comment about the damage and combo once per combo, but what was probably happening in your bonus game is that he doesn't know where a combo begins or ends (since the bonus player itself is not hurt), so I also adjusted the one time limit code.

When I wrote the readme I had a feeling that comma would be trouble, hehe. I'll make it clearer.

It's possible but a better way to achieve it would proably be attached characters. Otherwise you'll be loading a 200MB add-on in every stage but will only actually be using 10MB of it.

Anyway I have another commentator on the drawing board that should be a lot more entertaining than this one. This just had to be done and was a good proof of concept.
