*Updated 04/27/12*Preview video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffvV5WyG8LAhttp://www.mediafire.com/?pcpjyq643yksu14I felt that just making palettes wasn't enough for me to deserve a contributer star, so I decided to make my first real stage..or I should say stages; Collision Chaos from Sonic CD!It took quite a while to make these, those neon signs got tough to work with at times. Overall though, it was very fun making these! Originally I was gonna make just one stage, but I decided to make every era; present, past, good future and bad future. I included both the US and JPN/EUR music in the file, so you can pick your prefered one.I hope you all enjoy these, especially the fellow Sonic fans here! Feedback is welcome. Credit:Magma Dragoon MK II for inspiring me with his Sonic stages.Cybaster for his stage tool, as it helped give me a base to work off of.Ryon and Margatroid for coding help.Shwa and rukifellth for ideas and feedback.Divine Insect for the rips.SEGA and Sonic Team for the Sonic series.Elecbyte for creating MUGEN.
Looks cool but would be even doper if those floors had parallax and a certain aspect of depth.Collision Chaos is like my most favorite stage in Sonic CD, mostly because of the Past version.
I agree about giving the floor paralex, that and perhaps add some enemies walking behind the fighters or perhaps some item boxes and time signs. You know, just to make the stage more lively.
Nicely done JD. Ironically, I just downloaded Sonic CD from XBLA last week... Good timing!! Thanks for the share.

Thanks for the tip!Collision Chaos is my favourite stage in Sonic CD too rukifellth said, April 12, 2012, 09:37:26 amI agree about giving the floor paralex, that and perhaps add some enemies walking behind the fighters or perhaps some item boxes and time signs. You know, just to make the stage more lively. I really like the idea of adding the time signs. I'm also planning to add animation to the water in the background of the past, present and good future stages.Saikoro said, April 12, 2012, 01:40:09 pmNicely done JD. Gonna test it now!Thank you. It feels great hearing that from the guy who first inspired me.
Say, I had a sudden idea. I myself can't decide which one to use, so, what if the level after a certain amount of time, shifts to another time period? You begin at the Present, but the stage can shift to other times like the Past, Bad Future and Good Future. Is that a good idea?
It is definitely a good idea, but I don't think I'll be doing it.I haven't the experience yet to do that kind of coding and I'd rather just have four separate stages available. Thanks for the neat suggestions though!
