Command help needed

I'm developing characters for a 4 button game with z and c as shortcut buttons. I'm building these characters with 2 different movement options. One with 2 buttons(z) and the other with 3 buttons(c). I'm aiming to make every button work as an individual button while also having z and c as shortcut buttons when pressed by themselves. Every button works in tandem with the exception of z, the 2 button shortcut. Is this possible?
