A character of mine will have an attack similar to Valentines Syringes from SkullGirls, I want him to throw a syringe that is going to slow down the enemy's movement speed (only on the ground), forcing him to jump if he wants to get anywhere; it is possible right? Could any of you help me out?

At first I was thinking you probably couldn't do this. BUT
Maybe if you made an invisible helper with player push. I'm not sure if you could figure out how to use Target, But I'd imagine EnemyNear would work.
You'd do something like
(enemynear, Const(velocity.run.fwd.x))/4
Or whatever you needed to control the Helper's speed.

You could set it up where you see if P2 is holding forward. Then adjust the helper's speed or you could just give the helper a veladd where if it goes over the speed you dont want it subtracts until it's there.

You may need a second one if you want walking backwards to be affected also.

Im not sure if there's another way to do this or not.

This is just slowdown code.

Do it based on your opponents velocity and statetype

type = pause
trigger1 = enemy, statetype != A && enemy, vel X!= 0
trigger1 = gametime%2= 0
time = 1
movetime = 1

If your opponent is in a standing or crouching statetype, and moving, they are slowed down,  Increase values if you want more of a slowdown. I am assuming this is what you're after as causing them to come to a complete stop is... silly. Possible, but not really worth it when teleports exist.

In M.U.G.E.N there is no magic button

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

Will try that as soon as i get home
Thank you both, again
