For some reason after applying xcostume to Ahuron's kim I get the message "Could not open file: Kim_Kaphwan.snd" the message appears even without changing the snd, as I didn't find anyone with the same problem so I decided to post here

just had this error with this char.

the things that are added

1 animation - 12345
2 sounds - 12345,0 - 12345,1
1 sprite - 12345,0
1 xcostume.txt

basically this is what is introduced in the char's .cns

YOU HAVE TO SAVE YOUR CHARACTER AS A 1.1 CHARACTER FIRST BEFORE YOU ADD ANY .PNG FILES.

everything only works if I disable the char snd

Cyanide

Don't know. Does the snd actually work? Like you haven't got a corrupt file somehow?

In M.U.G.E.N there is no magic button

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

leeocosta

The snd only presents a problem if I put these codes
even without me modifying it

already tried to put the snd of other chars but the error persists

the strangest thing is that in FFS everything works normal

Cyanide

Does it break if you add any code or just the specific code you mention?

Add this to any state. Save and tell us if it breaks

[State makedust]
Type = null
Trigger1 = 1

Nothing else. I want to know if the act of saving breaks it. I have an idea of what to do if thats the case.

leeocosta

just the specific mentioned

Any other code, change or addition works normally

Cyanide

So you make all the changes. Don't modify the snd at all. And it breaks telling you the snd is bad? If you're genuinely not touching the file this could potentially be an elecbyte template effect. It differs for everyone and some people never see it.

Open the air file. Delete anim 5300. Save quit. Reload. Recreate anim 5300. Try doing stuff agai.

leeocosta

It didn't work too, I think the problem is in ff3

I don't usually send chars before they're ready but I can send you the char if you want maybe you can find out what the problem is

Cyanide

No. I haven't turned my pc on in almost a year. Not doing it for this.
