Error When Adding Characters

Hello, I recently re-downloaded no-limit mugen after about a year and I tried to add a character when I got this error when I tried to run Mugen.
"Error Message: String value for name must be in quotes
Error reading k.def
Error finding character/stages in select.def"

I also tried with another character and I also got this error, obviously k.def was replaced with the other character's name. I followed all steps when adding the characters... Placing the folder with the files inside the char folder, making sure the name of the folder and the def file matched and added "k" w/o the quotes at the right spot.

Why don't you post your whole DEF File? And while you're doing that, check to make sure each file the DEF leads to is actually THERE
