finished the first complete epsiode of not cowboy bebop, I found it pretty underwhelming plot/character/entertainment wise, but the visual and sounds are really interesting and pleasing so I will continue watching it.

since I am angry because of this season's light novel adaptations I decided to fuck it all and wathc one of the first light novel adapatations I have memory of; and man slayers is so fun; I am enjoying it more this time that when I watched it 15 years ago, mostly because of being able to understand some of the dialogue.

I felt the same way about Space Dandy's first episode.  It's exactly the show I expected it to be ,but it didn't really do anything for me past the visuals and the music. I really hope the show evolves beyond Dandy's episodic adventures or at least make them a bit more interesting.

Enjoyed the Mushi-shi Ova ,but now I gotta wait till April for more. Everything I wan't to see is in Spring, which reminds me that I need to catch up on JJBA before Stardust Crusaders starts.

that adaptation was 10 years behind it's time; it belong to the times when vn/videogame adaptations were fucking poorly done. too abd it was not 15 years behind it's time, at least it would have gotten good fighting scenes like the sf2 movie and other fighting game adaptations from then. the only good thing about is was the faylan song.

The BlazBlue anime did a very poor job of making the story seem...good. The characters were one-dimensional, they made Ragna an un-likeable bastard and flattened his personality, and I remember a lot of off-model moments in the 3 or 4 episodes I watched. I think my reaction to seeing Rachel was "Who the hell is that........OH!"

They may be consistent in-show, but looking at the characters faces in-game and then seeing them in the anime for the first time was confusing because they looked...well, off. It is specifically Rachel I'm talking about, and if I get the chance I'll post a comparison pic or something. She just looked like an off-brand version of herself.

well, off model is also used as an anime term, it feres to poorly drawn frames that don't look like the character's model from the designs (a lot of series put a simple version of those design in their webpages ); it happens a lot in tv series and also happened a lot in blazblue.

chu2 is out, it's sad that it has much better fighitng scenes than most fighting anime; episode 1 felt like it had a bigger budget than even hyouka.

So I watched space dandy...
I only made it 5 minutes in before giving up hope that it wasn't EXACTLY what I thought it was going to be. I'm also waiting for the feminist backlash because lol.

the second half is not sexist, but it manages to be even more boring, the jokes are hit and miss, but it's really lacking in the hit department as episode 1.
