Street Fighter vs. Dragonball Z

Introduction:
As you can guess from the title this is a Versus game and a clash between the Streeet Fighter and Dragonball/Z universes.

Cannon:

There will be a seperate story written for each character but the basic outline is that this is set after the end of Dragonball Z but before GT.
An evil power named Chiron had arrisen in the world of New Ground,
Chiron's plans have been slowly destroying the space between universes and along with the terrible bending of universes that have happened in the past with the street fighter universe and the amount of mis-use of the dragonballs and the black star dragonballs in the dragonball universe they 3 worlds have merged so that if you walk off land in one universe you will end up in another.

Demo

A playable demo featuring Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo will be released soon.
EDIT: Before the demo above is done a demo featuring 5 stages and Chun Li and Piccolo with basic hits, movements and attacks done and maybe some specials.

As I very much like the style of Capcom vs. SNK : MOTM, that will be the style of the sprites and the Dragonball Z sprites will need to be done. So far the only characters playable are Goku and Chun Li.

Game Play:

SF - Street fighter characters will feature a normal sliding forward dash and a hop backwards back dash.
DBZ - Dragonball Z characters except humans (Krillin) will feature a teleport foward instead of a sliding foward dash and a sliding backward dash.

I see nothing but a screen shot of the title and the player select screen. What I really want to see is the sprites. I just hope they match one another. Hate seeing sprites that dont share the same technique.

Oh, pocket sprites, well that's sensible. List isn't too long either, good signs.

1.0 or winmugen? Cos if you were to use localcoord you could scale the general screensize down rather than having a massive massive stage with teeny tiny characters in it.

I recommend you use different lifebars. The SF3TS bars look a bit out of place, IMO.

You could try editing the LSW DBZ sprites if you get tired of customs.

I am using Winmugen+ but might shift over to Mugen 1.0 since it has some awsome features that would be useful.

Btw, the SF3TS lifebars are just a place holder for a while.

And I am using the LSW sprites to help me do the sprites in pocket style.

I figured it would be easier to convert LSW sprites to pocket style than pocket style to lsw.

So far goku is the most playable character in some ways, as he has his standing punches done but Chun Li is more done in movements.

EDIT:

I am currently working on the screenpack. This project is going extremely well considering this is my first project and this is my first time ever making a screenpack.

Btw, I may not have time to do the lifebars so if anyone would like to volunteer then your help would be greatly appreciated  ;D

Basics:
L,M,H Punches/Kicks
Sliding Dash Back
Teleport Foward
Ki Blast (Depletes Power Bar) - Chargable
Ki Blast Reflect
Ki Blast Absob (Difficult to do but the Ki used in the Ki Blast will be absorbed into you)
Charge (To prevent Dbz chars having a huge advantage over SF chars this will move very slowly)

Specials:
Kamehameha (Blast Ver.) Level 1
Kamehameha (Beam Ver.) Level 2
Genkidama (Goku Ver.) Level 3

Supers:
100x Kamehameha (Beam Ver.) Level 2
Gekidama (World Ver.) Level 4 (Can not charge to level 4 only obtainable from Ki Blast absorbs)

Desperation Move:
Super Saiyan -Has a 30 second Timer that i depleted when hit, Req- 25% Health and atleast 1 Level Power (Higher Level Power = Longer Time). When in super saiyan mode Goku can not be hit.

Super Saiyan Moves:

Specials:
10x Kamehameha (Blast Ver.) Level 2
10x Kamehameha (Tele Ver.) Level 3

Super:

100x Kamehameha (Tele Ver.) Level 3
Genkidama (Universe Ver.) Level 4
Genkidama (Universe Ver. + Tele) Level 5

As you can most likely tell Genkidama Universe Ver. is an insta kill unless it is blocked and the Genkidama Universe Ver. + Tele prevents blocking as it forces the opponent into an idle state with the turn state turned off.

Also to prevent going against the laws of dbz goku does revert to normal mode until after the genkidama then he performs a kamehameha on the genkidama just like in the buu saga and yes he will be in super saiyan before the kamehameha.

Dont worry everyone will be following a similar sort of pattern, all dbz chars' desperation move is a transformation (except krillin who does unlocked potential).

UPDATE:


I finnaly managed to get the lifebars to actually be inserted into MUGEN.
^_^ During this Project I have learned so much.

Also any stage making volunteers?

I have some stages but they dont completely match the style but idk.

Kikosho Level 4 - Reach Level 4 by performing a 10+ combo and having a full power bar (this will be how to reach level 4 on a street fighter character)

Since this battle takes place in 3 universes including the land of new ground I guess I must include atleast 3 characters from that universe right? otherwise it would be messed up ^_^ new character concepts are going to be fun!

The face ones... idk there is something weird that is causing the faces to be out of alignment...

Also gradients, done in paint!!!!!
