so, I've been looking all over the internet for a few days about how to create characters for the last Mugen Engine and I haven't found a decent tutorial that explains from the basic to the adv part of it, nor I found anything explaining a good way to edit/create new sprites(specially HD ones)

I was wondering if no one got one stored away on their PC's OR care to make one?

on another note, was wondering if anyone ever did a character edit(used the sprites) to make an original version of Chris(and Orochi Chris) from the KoF series, if anyone knows anything(already been looking for about 2 months) would glad to have a poke about it.

For character creation for beginners, this might help:

For character spriting, I wouldn't recommend starting on  hi-res characters if you don't have any first-hand experience with spriting. I'd say start with CvS or CPS2 styles, since they're easy to grasp, and in that case I'd recommend these:

The spriting tutorial, could be easier to understand. Anyway, here are some tutorials by the awesome Kiwi:

I highly recommend this one from all the bunch:

Why? because it's easier to work with a higher resolution(using 2 pixels pencil) and then(once indexating colours) resize it to the half of its size. Then, you'll have to do minor fix here and there. Voilà!
