Hello all,

Thanks for reading this. I'm having a little trouble with my "shoryuken". When I first made it the computer could pull it off but I couldn't. Then I added a trigger so that I could combo it off another hit and then I could get it to work fine, however it doesn't work unless I combo it off that move

Here is the code....

[State -1, Shoryuken]
type = ChangeState
value = 1100
triggerall = command = "Shoryu_x" && statetype = S
trigger1 = ctrl
trigger2 = (stateno = 204) && time >= 7

and the command

[Command]
name = "Shoryu_x"
command = ~F, D, DF, x

Where am i going wrong???

Many thanks  :sugoi:

Put triggerall for your state type and trigger1 should be ctrl and shoryu_x

I'm not sure if that's the problem but try it.

Oh yeah you got time for the ai but not your command add time to trigger all or just trigger1

Edit not ai on the combo.

change the statype = S to statetype !=A

use that for all commands that functions like that. why? because when the cmd is inputted you have to press down which activates a crouching motion, you have it only when standing. so it's best to say when stateype does not = AIr. That will fix your problem.

also, in the cmd, put the changestate to the shoryuken before the changestates of the hadoukens.

Just an update... I was playing around with the cmd and got my shoryuken to work, however I had to add

&& command !="Shoryu_x"

to the respective punch...

So now my Standing light punch looks like

[State -1, Stand Light Punch]
type = ChangeState
value = 200
triggerall = command = "x" && command != "holddown" && command != "Shoryu_x" && statetype = S
trigger1 = ctrl

I get the feeling thats a little complicated. Is mugen getting confused with something in my commands???

Edit: So sorry, forgot to thank everyone thats posted so far. I did try all the things that were suggested but they didn't help so I had to do it this way. I really do appreciate this  :sugoi:

also, in the cmd, put the changestate to the shoryuken before the changestates of the hadoukens. And your basic punches. If it uses the X button at all, it's gotta go after the shoryuken.

Yup sorry, I totally misread that the first time. Got that working fine now  ::)

Problem now though is that my crouching lp and lk do not work if im holding DF, but only the lp and lk. Am I being stupid again?  ???

crouching
Triggerall    = command = "y" && command = "holddown"

Triggerall    = command = "y" && command != "holddown"

a trigger 1 I have the equivalent to statetype!=A && ctrl = 1
