Hello guys,

I have download character and want to add it on my mugen game

I downloaded mugen game from https://duracelleurxmugen.blogspot.com/ (KOF Anthology)

I downloaded new character from https://BLACKLISTED WEBSITE.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=150079-reptile-gabriel108978

I put the character and it worked but it has to be fixed in order to fit with KOF Anthology system

Well, first issue i want to fix is character portrait in select character page

I have edit it on Fighter Factory, yes portrait image altered but the image change in healthbar portrait not in select character

So how to insert character image portrait in select character page ?

  • I also want to know how to resize image and in Fighter Factory ?
  • In Fighter Factory  how to set image as portrait image in select character ? I open other character but the sprite order not always in 1st picture

After I fix this i will ask :
  • How to change button and animation
  • how to make character more or less aggressive

It depends on what specific group/index the system requires.
For example, Group 9000 and index 0 is usually for in-game/health bar character portraits.
Group 9000 and index 1 is usually for character select sprites, etc etc. Not every game asks for the same thing though, this is just a general rule.

Regarding on how to resize in FF, you go into image editor -> image -> Resize.
The next question is not correlated. Portrait image is different like I mentioned previously and certain sprites not always showing first depends on sprite order and not to mention palette order too.

Your additional questions are mostly technical. Changing buttons and animation are two very different things. Making characters more/less aggressive can be simple (if the character has an AI setting) or hard (you must change the AI yourself).

I suggest you read a few tutorials before delving into this, cuz if you don't know what you're doing, things will get pretty hectic real quick.
